Abstract
A series of macamides (1-4) and their synthetic analogs (5-14) were synthesized and evaluated for in vitro inhibitory activities against breast cancer cell MCF-7. The results of bioactive assay showed that two of the macamides (compound 1 and 4) and one synthetic analog (compound 5) displayed comparable inhibitory activities against MCF-7 cell line, with IC50 values of 29.6, 36.2 and 27.2 µM, respectively.
