Abstract
Imidazole, an important azole heterocycle, having biological and medicinal properties prompted various research groups to develop different synthetic routes to this heterocycle. This review is an attempt to focus on the various synthetic routes involving conventional and new greener approaches for the synthesis of trisubstituted imidazoles.
