摘要

放射治疗(RT)是一种独特的癌症治疗方式,在许多情况下是不可替代的,它使用各种类型的致瘤剂量的电离辐射(IR)来杀死癌细胞。它通过活性氧(ROS)的产生或抗氧化系统的破坏引起氧化应激。另一方面,RT通过释放压力暴露和死亡细胞的危险信号,直接或间接地刺激免疫系统。氧化应激与炎症是两个相互作用且密切相关的机制,一个由另一个诱导并参与。ROS调节细胞内信号转导通路,参与促炎基因的激活和表达。反过来,炎症细胞在炎症过程中释放ROS和免疫系统介质,从而驱动氧化应激的诱导。氧化应激或炎症诱导的损伤可导致细胞死亡(CD)或存活机制,这可能对正常细胞具有破坏性或对癌细胞有益。本文对具有抗氧化和抗炎双重作用的辐射防护剂进行了研究。
