摘要

纳米医学是替代传统癌症治疗方法的好方法,但并不能解决肿瘤学的所有局限性。用于抗癌治疗的纳米粒子可以作为药物、核酸、显像剂的载体,也可以使细胞对辐射敏感。本文就纳米颗粒在癌症治疗中的应用及其存在的问题和局限性作一综述。利用纳米颗粒作为药物载体,显著提高了化合物的运输效率,并实现了直接靶向肿瘤;它也减少了化疗药物对身体的副作用。然而,纳米粒子并不能显著提高化疗药物本身的有效性。大多数纳米药物可以减少化疗的毒性,但不会显著影响治疗的有效性。应该开发能够有效地作为抗转移治疗的纳米药物,例如通过增强纳米颗粒利用免疫系统将化疗负载转移到前哨淋巴结的能力,并在特定转移区域开发化疗。然而,基因疗法是治疗癌症的最现代的方法,癌症的起因是通过改变遗传物质来解决的。纳米粒子在放射治疗和诊断方面的其他应用也被讨论。
