The Editor-in-Chief of Current Medicinal Chemistry , Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman, FRS, welcomes Sir John Bertrand Gurdon, FRS, as the Honorary Advisor to the Current Medicinal Chemistry Editorial Board. Sir Gordon is currently Emeritus Professor at Gurdon Institute, Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge, UK. Sir Gurdon shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Shinya Yamanaka in 2012 for their pioneering research that led to the discovery of processes that convert mature living cells to stem cells.
Current Medicinal Chemistry (Impact factor 3.46), is one of the inaugural publications of Bentham Science Publishers.
