Evandro L. de Souza received a Ph.D. in Nutrition (2006) from Federal University of Pernambuco (Brazil) and a master’s degree in Food Science and Technology (2003) from Federal University of Paraíba (Brazil). He is currently an Associate Professor and a leader scientist at Laboratory of Food Microbiology - Department of Nutrition - Federal University of Paraíba. His research expertise and interests are food microbiology, food safety, probiotics, prebiotics and gut microbiota modulation. He is (co)-author of more than 200 scientific outputs, including original research, review papers, book chapters and patents.

Biography of H. Razafindralambo
Hary Razafindralambo received a Ph.D. in Agronomic Sciences and Biological Engineering (1996) and a master’s degree in Chemistry and Bio-industries (1990) from the Gembloux Agricultural University in Belgium. He is currently a leader scientist of e-Lab for multidisciplinary Science and Technology Abreast. His research expertise and interests are the physical chemistry of biological and food systems focused on colloids and interfaces, synergism, and interactions of nutraceuticals, probiotic metabolites, and lactic bacteria. Prof. M. E. Fatima Nader-Macias works as CONICET Superior Scientist at
CERELA, a research institute in Tucuman (Argentina), where she is the
Head of the Pharmabiotic Department. And is Full Professor of
Microbiology in the Nutrition School (UNSTA). She is involved in
different research projects about probiotic lactic acid bacteria for
human and animal applications. The projects involve isolation, evaluation

Professor Elizabeth M. Sajdel-Sulkowska, a neuroscientist, holds BS, MS, and
D.Sc. (1972) degrees from MIT and has been a faculty member of Harvard
Medical School Dept. of Psychiatry for over four decades. Her research mainly
focused on the mechanisms involved in the gene-environment interactions during
brain neurodevelopment using animal models and examining the effects of toxins,
infections, and altered gravity (NASA). She is an author and co-author of
numerous book chapters, articles in leading journals, and conferences bridging
fundamental neuroscience and neuropsychiatry. Her recent research focuses on the
role of the gut- brain axis in the neurodevelopmental outcome of maternal
depression during pregnancy and potential issues associated with COVID-19.

the aquatic animals intestinal microbes research group from 2007, and was the head of
