He was also a Director of Research for several French private companies as well as a Canadian public company. He acts as a Consultant for top pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies. Dr. Sabatier works in the field of animal toxins. He so far contributed to several books in toxinology and virology, and more than 160 scientific articles, 180 communications, and 53 patents in both biology and chemistry.

With more than 275 peer-reviewed publications in high impact journals, Dr Annweiler pioneers a research work on the non-skeletal effects of lipophilic vitamins including vitamin D. The impact of this research has led to new therapeutic approaches in various diseases, including several patents.

These International journals include Nature Neuroscience, Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Microbiology, and Physiology, Integrative Biology, BMC Genomics and, Bioinformatics and J. Bacteriology, etc. Amjad has secured several research grants (as PI and Co-PI), on a highly competitive ground. He also has supervised several PhD and Master Thesis. During the past years, Amjad Ali has been awarded the “Best Research Paper Award” for the year 2013/14 by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan (2016). Dr. Leonard Amaral is an Emeritus Professor at the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a Distinguished Invited Scientist Fellow of the Fundacao de Ciencias e Tecnologia de Portugal. He received his PhD from the State University of New York (SUNY) in 1968. He has published over 400 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include Infectious diseases, Tuberculosis, Multi-Drug Resistance, Molecular Biology, and Drug Development. His area of current main contributions include a) Development of therapy by which the resistance of MDR/XDR Mtb is by-passed and the non-killing macrophage is transformed into a killer of MDR/XDR Mtb, and b) Therapy of MDR/XDR TB with an inexpensive drug that is beyond patent protection, has no serious toxicity and has been now shown to cure XDR TB. Besides, he has received Medal of Merit from the Universidad Nova de Lisboa in 2018.

Dr. Ziad Moussa grew up in Calgary, Canada where he undertook undergraduate and postgraduate studies in chemistry at the University of Calgary (B.Sc. 1998, Ph.D. 2003). His Ph.D. research was conducted under the supervision of professor Thomas George Back and focused on the synthesis and evaluation of some novel selenium-based chiral auxiliaries and glutathione peroxidase mimetics. Following postdoctoral research at Texas A&M University (2003-2006) in the laboratories of Professor Daniel Romo, Dr. Ziad joined the Department of Chemistry at Taibah University as an assistant professor. Currently, he is an associate professor of organic chemistry at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). His main research interests include the development of synthetic methodologies and the synthesis and characterization of novel selenium- and sulfur-based bioactive organic and heterocyclic compounds with anticancer, antiviral, and antimicrobial activities.

Since 2017, Dr. Vaishali is Associate Professor in the KIET Group of Institutions (Department: School of Pharmacy) at Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, India. She has experience in application of computer aided drug design, QSAR and related medicinal chemistry approaches for biologically important classes of organic compounds. In addition she has experience in handling computational software and interpretation of analytical data (IR, NMR, MS). Dr. Vaishali is author of more than 45 papers published in indexed/peer reviewed Journals and 13 book chapters (Elsevier, Springer, Nova, etc.) with citation index of 200. She has received funding from various agencies to promote research activities of her lab.

His doctoral research is focused on the utilization of modern protein domain annotation techniques to the three domains of life. In addition, Dr. Arli is also an expert on immunoinformatics, in silico drug design, and in silico transcriptomics.

Reza Rastmanesh, Ph.D. worked as an assistant professor in Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, clinical nutrition and dietetics department from 2004 to 2010, where he was involved in the human studies on novel approaches to weight loss, ranging from mixed psychological approaches to traditional and herbal medicine and supplements. He has two theories for weight loss involving melatonin, sleep, appetite, and thermoregulation. He also established theories in different medical situations including retinal neovascularization, ocular situations and dermatology. For the past 14 years, he has been working at molecular, sociomedical and biomedical levels in diabetes management and obesity control. He has a wide range of interests, including but not limited to molecular and psychological approaches for weight loss, melatonin, time perception, memory, cognition, brain energy and thermodynamics. He is currently an independent researcher.
