Dr. Kai-Uwe Lewandrowski is the esteemed founder of the Center For Advanced Spine Care of Southern Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, USA. In this role, he leads a minimally invasive spine care program focusing on spinal endoscopy and interventional pain surgery. Dr. Lewandrowski's reputation precedes him, as he has served as faculty at the University of Arizona and holds the esteemed position of a full-tenured Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the prestigious Universidad Sanitas in Bogotá, D.C., Colombia. He is also a visiting professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the renowned Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Notably, he has been bestowed as an "International Corresponding Member" of the Brazilian Academy of Military Medicine and the Colombian and Brazilian National Academy of Medicine. He received the 75th Anniversary Service Medal of the Brazilian Academy of Military Medicine in 2016. Additionally, he was inducted into the order of the "Knight" of SILACO (Sociedad Iberolatinoamericana de Columna) and received its highest clinical research award in 2023. His dedication to bone allograft research was recognized with the OREF Award for Excellence. Dr. Lewandrowski was honored with the esteemed "Most Compassionate Doctor" Award, highlighting his exceptional patient care.

He has 15 years of experience developing and implementing medical education programs, principally on orthopedic and endoscopic spine surgery and in research, especially those related to clinical outcomes, surgical training, anatomical studies, and new minimally invasive surgical development. He is an honorary member of the Silaco Ibero Latin American Spine Surgery Society.

Dr. Martin Knight MD FRCS MBBS is recognized as a pioneer in endoscopic spinal surgery. He has pioneered both the surgery techniques and the development of aware state spinal diagnosis globally since 1990; enabling a paradigm shift towards personalised tailored spinal surgery. He employed tubular discectomy in 1988, brought the KTP laser into the UK in 1990, and subsequently the ND:YAG to pursue percutaneous laser disc decompression. Noting its limitations, he developed instrumentation and added endoscopy to tubular discectomy and innovated endoscopic Laser foraminoplasty. He also provides medico-legal reporting services. With cutting edge methods, he has succeeded in preserving the natural function of the spine and have helped thousands of people to enjoy a better quality of life by curing their back or neck pain.

Prof. Álvaro Dowling graduated from the University of Chile as a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology, with extensive experience and training abroad in many countries. He is recognized for his contribution to the academic world, as a visiting professor at the University of Sao Paulo (USP), past president of the Interamerican Society of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (SICCMI), author of study books abroad, and invited professor at national and international congresses. Prof. Jorge Felipe Ramirez Leon studied medicine at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. He is a specialist in orthopedics and has been dedicated to spinal surgery for 40 years, of which the last 29 have been dedicated to Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery (MISS). His professional practice has been carried out in the city of Bogotá. His training in Orthopedics and Spine Surgery was at the Santa Casa de la Misericordia in Sao Paulo Brazil between the years 1979 – 1982. He developed the Latin American Center for Research and Training in Minimally Invasive Surgery CLEMI. He has been invited as Faculty in five minimally invasive world congresses. In 1993, he developed Ortomac, a company dedicated to the design and marketing of implants for the musculoskeletal system. In 2001, he developed the first clinic in Colombia dedicated to minimally invasive surgery. He has been involved in publishing different research papers and books. He has been a member of a number of societies, such as the Colombian Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, an honorary member of the German Orthopedic Society, etc.

Dr. Xifeng Zhang, M.D. is one of the pioneers of minimally invasive spine surgery in China. Since 2002, Dr. Zhang has been involved in the application of minimally invasive spine surgery to spine tuberculosis, spinal degenerative diseases,spinal infection, and spinal tumor. He has been organizing cadaver workshops for decades and thousands of physicians have been trained by him. He made a great contribution for spine endoscopy that is presently applied in orthopedics in China. He is one of the physicians who have completed most of the spine endoscopic surgeries in China with more than 15,000 different minimally invasive spine surgeries, and over 8,000 spine endoscopic surgeries.

Prof. Huilin Yang, MD, PhD, is the director of the Orthopaedic Department at the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University, and the chief of Orthopaedic Institute of Soochow University. He is an elected international president of ISASS (International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery). Dr. Yang has been engaged in orthopedic clinical practice for 40 years and contributes a lot to the advancement of spinal surgery in China, especially in the minimally invasive spinal surgery. He established a lot of creative techniques for the diagnosis and treatment for spinal injury. He has presided over 11 national projects, including key projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and National Key Research and Development Program of China. He has published a number of papers and he received the prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award (as the first accomplisher) twice and won Scientific and Technological Progress Award of Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation in 2021. As an initiator, he has organized and drafted a number of Chinese guidelines or professional consensus on spinal surgery.
