The section Biochemistry of the journal Current Indian Science publishes original research and review articles, letters and special issues of interest to the readers that showcase the novelty, enlighten the futuristic thoughts, raise provocative questions and hypotheses regarding an interesting and important biological question in the various dimensions of biochemistry, and serves as a platform for the discussion of new ideas in the same field. It invigorates transdisciplinarity and provides quantitative insights into fundamental problems at the molecular, cellular, and systems and whole-organism levels.

Dr. Jana serves as Advisor in Scientific Advisory Board of different Institutes as well as he is a Govt. of India approved Nominee in IAEC/IBSC/IHEC of different Institutes and Universities.
