The Corrosion Science section of the journal Current Chinese Science publishes original research articles, letters, case reports, reviews/mini-reviews and guest edited thematic issues on various topics related to corrosion science.
This section is not limited to a specific aspect of the field but is instead devoted to a wide range of sub fields in the area. Articles of a multidisciplinary nature are particularly welcome. Submissions in the following corrosion science areas are of special interest to the readers of this journal:

Professor Lei Guo received his PhD in Chemical Engineering and Technology from
Chongqing University, China in 2015. He is currently working as a Professor at the
Department of Materials and Chemical Engineering, Tongren University, China. He has

electrochemistry, corrosion science, density functional theory, as well as molecular
dynamic simulation. He recently focuses on metal-air batteries, organic corrosion

郭雷,男,1987年6月生,铜仁学院教授,西南石油大学博士后,
2015年博士毕业于重庆大学,贵州省“千”层次创新型人才,四川轻
化工大学兼职硕导,主要深耕材料腐蚀与防护、化学电源、电化学
分析方法、分子模拟计算、表界面材料等领域的研究。目前担任

Colloid and Interface Science 等100多个期刊杂志评审专家,担任
Journal of Materials and Environmental Science、Colloid and

Dong Junhua is a professor at Shenyang National Lab of Materials Science, Institute of

electrochemical corrosion of metals. His interests focus on studying the electrochemical
corrosion mechanism of metals in various corrosive environments, in-situ measurement and
monitoring techniques, developing weathering and corrosion resistant steels, and

Dr. Ambrish Singh is working as Professor in School of New Energy and Materials,
Southwest Petroleum University, China. He is leading the Corrosion Research Group
(CRG) with master students, Ph.D. students and postdoc researchers. His research
interests are mainly focused on corrosion, electrochemistry, green chemistry, quantum
chemistry, smart coatings, polymers, nano-materials, composites, and petroleum
engineering. He got the prestigious Sichuan 1000 Talent Award from the Sichuan
government, China for his outstanding research contributions as a faculty. He got the
President’s Award for exceptional post doctoral research work. He also received the
Young Scientist Award from UPCST, Lucknow, India. Before moving to China, Dr.
Singh worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Lovely
Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, India.
He has published more than 120 SCI peer-reviewed research papers in high impact
journals. He is acting as reviewer for more than 40 high impact journals and editor for
few journals. He is included as board member in several journals due to his
contributions in the field of corrosion. Dr. Singh has been invited to present his work
in several national and International conferences, seminars and workshops. He got the
best oral presentation award in Sanya, China during CMSE international conference.
He has drafted five patents and filed two patents based on his new and innovative
findings in China. He has finished several state and provincial projects in China and
India. He is also serving as a consultant for a project on a corrosion inhibitor for the
CO 2
environment from Saudi Arabia. He is the member of NACE (National Association
for Corrosion Engineers, Houston, USA), Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and
American Chemical Society (ACS).
