Dr Peigang Li obtained a Doctorate (PhD) in Condensed Matter Physics from the Institute of Physics, CAS in 2006. He is a Professor at the Department of Physics, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. His research focuses on semiconductor materials and devices, including thin films, low dimensional materials, single crystal of quantum materials, and using them to construct optoelectronics devices, Schottky barrier diodes, Field effect transistors (FET), and heterostructures, aiming to understand the physics behind the devices’ properties. He co-authored more than 150 SCI-indexed papers in international journals.

Dr. Ram Gupta is an Associate Professor at Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas, USA. Dr. Gupta’s research focuses on green energy production and storage using conducting polymers and composites, nanomaterials, optoelectronics and photovoltaics devices, organic-inorganic hetero-junctions for sensors, nanomagnetism, bio-based polymers, bio-compatible nanofibers for tissue regeneration, scaffold and antibacterial applications, bio-degradable metallic implants. Dr. Gupta published over 185 peer-reviewed articles in leading science journals, made over 250 national/international/ regional presentations, chaired many sessions at national/international meetings, and received over one and a half million dollars for research and educational activities. He is serving as a member of editorial board for various journals

Dr Craig Edward Banks is currently an Associate Dean of Research, at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Manchester Metropolitan University. He is also an Acting Head of School of Healthcare Science, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Manchester Metropolitan University and a Professor/ Personal Chair in Electrochemical and Nanotechnology from the same university. He received DPhil in Physical Chemistry from the University of Oxford, Physical and Theoretical Chemistry Laboratory, Oxford, UK. He has more than 300 peer-reviewed publications, 15 patent families, 4 Books and 13 book chapters.

Dr. Majid Niaz Akhtar completed his Post Doctorate from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He got his Ph.D. in the field of nanotechnology from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. He received gold medal awards in his M.Phil and Masters from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. On completion of his Master studies, he has worked as a lecturer in AP Degree College, Multan. During his M.Phil studies, he worked as a visiting lecturer in Govt. College of Technology, Multan and Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Multan. He has been involved in conducting basic research in the fields of advanced material science for microwave absorption and memory storage devices. He has worked in COMSATS University, Islamabad (CUI), Lahore as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics. Dr. Niaz has expertise in the field of magnetic materials, composites, advanced functional materials and RF microwave devices (EM Antenna, Nanodevices). He has published more than 120 research papers in well-renowned impact factor journals.

Dr. Abhay Kumar Singh is presently serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed his M.Sc. from C.S.J.M. University Kanpur, India in 2000. He further obtained a Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India in 2009. His research interests include Chalcogenide photovoltaics, Synthesis and characterizations of CZTS, CZTSSe photovoltaic nanomaterials, Microstructure –glass structure and physical propretés corrélations. He has contributed his valuable publications in different scientific journals.

Shicai Xu, PhD, Professor, currently serves in Shandong Key Laboratory of Biophysics, Dezhou University. He received his PhD in College of Physics and Electronics, Shandong Normal University, PR China in 2014. His research focuses on biosensors based on nanomaterials and nanodevices, including: preparing graphene; field-effect transistor (FET), fluorescence, optical fiber biosensors, and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy; and the fabrication and applications of low-dimension nanomaterials. Prof. Xu has published over 70 peer-reviewed journal articles and is a coinventor of 8 patent applications. His total citation is 1449 and h-index is 23 according to Google Scholar.

Dr Vinay Gupta is currently working as a Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory, Dr K. S. Krishnan Marg, New Delhi, India. His major interests include Organic and hybrid solar cells, Energy storage materials (Supercapacitors and Battery), and Graphene. He is a scientific reviewer of several journals including Journal of American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Nano Letters, and Account of Chemical Research etc. In addition, he is a member of Japan Carbon Society, the International Society of Electrochemistry, the Electrochemical Society, Inc., USA, American Physical Society, Life Member of Indian Carbon Society, E-MRS, and the Japan Society of electrochemistry. Besides, he has published more than 50 articles in well-reputed international journals.

Dr. K.S.V. Santhanam is a Professor of Chemistry and Materials Science at Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY, USA. He served as Director of the Center For Materials Science and Engineering at RIT for twelve years. Prior to joining RIT, he served at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. He did research on Coulometry, electrochemiluminescene, electrochemistry of organics, nanomaterials and electrochemical energy storage devices. He has published over 200 publications in peer reviewed journals and has published four books. He trained a number of students for MS and Ph.D. degrees. He was recipient of University grants commission scholarship, National Institute of Sciences of India Fellowship, Welch post-doctoral fellowship and was visiting scientist/professor in several reputed Institutes in Switzerland, France, Canada and USA. He was an elected corresponding member of SAXON Academy, Germany and European Union Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Bai Sun has received his PhD degree from Southwest University in 2015. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher in University of Waterloo. His research interests include multifunctional application of nanomaterials, physical devices, preparation of photocatalytic materials and exploration of new energy storage materials. Dr. Sun has published more than 100 peer reviewed papers.

Chatchawal Wongchoosuk received the PhD and MSc degrees from Mahidol University and the BSc degree with first class honors in Physics from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand in 2011, 2007, and 2005, respectively. Currently, he is a faculty member of Kasetsart University. He is a specialist in development of smart sensors and intelligent systems for food, agricultural and environmental applications. He has received over 25 research awards. He has served as a reviewer for several scientific journals. He has published several dozens of articles in reputed journals and proceedings as well as book chapters with patents & copyrights. His research interests cover the topics of modern Nanoscience and Nanotechnology researches ranging from theoretical modeling of nanomaterials to fabrication of intelligent nanodevices such as DFTB, hybrid gas sensors, electronic nose, printed electronics, flexible electronics, IoT system, intelligent food and agricultural sensors and smart devices.

Kavintheran Thambiratnam obtained his B.Sc (Hons.) degree in Applied Physics and M.Sc and Ph.D degrees in Photonics from the University of Malaya. He has published more than 70 research articles in ISI journals as well as numerous conference proceedings, books and articles in magazines. His research interest are focused on optical communications applications, encompassing technologies such as fiber lasers, fiber amplifiers, the applications of graphene in fiber optics and the development of quick pulsed fiber lasers as well as optical sensing technologies.

Professor NIDAL H. ABU-HAMDEH received his PhD degree from Ohio State University with the honor degree, Columbus-Ohio, USA in 1996. Currently, he is serving as a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan. During his integrated experience, he has authored/co-authored hundreds of scientific articles that were published in ISI journals and as conference papers that cover these topics. In addition, he has been a Reviewer for numerous international journals and conferences. For this reason, he is very highly qualified scientist and known internationally. He was awarded the Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Engineering Sciences for Young Arab Researchers, and he also was awarded the Hisham Hijawi Award for Applied Sciences in the Field of Engineering.

Dr. Trilochan Mishra is working as Senior Principal Scientist and Professor (AcSIR) at CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory. Dr. Mishra is a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and visited Prof. Patrik Schmuki group, Friedrich-Alexander-University (FAU), Germany as Raman Research Fellow where he worked on development of 1D TiO2-based nanotubes and their applications. Presently he is working as group leader of functional material group in the area of nanomaterials, porous materials, surface science and coating including development of new 2D materials based on MXene, graphene, metal chalcogenides. He has published several book chapters and research articles in high impact international journals.

Ranjan K. Sahu obtained his Ph. D degree in chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India in the year 2002. Currently, he is senior principal scientist in CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur, India. Dr. Sahu received Tata Innovista Award-2015 from Tata Sons for his pioneering work in the area of graphene. His research interests include green process for graphene production, graphene based corrosion protection paint, electronic properties of nanomaterials and XPS studies of materials. Dr. Sahu is author / co-author in more than 70 peer-reviewed international journals and 15 patents.

Prof. Dong Suk Han is a Research Associate Professor at the Center for Advanced Materials (CAM) of Qatar University (QU). He received a PhD from Texas A&M University-College Station, the United States, in 2009. He has over 20 years of experience in the development of Water Environment and Energy Technology using nanomaterials, environmental physical/chemical technologies such as adsorption/membrane separation, (photo)electrochemistry, and advanced oxidation/reduction process. His research has been supported by National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF), U.S. Department of Energy (US DOE), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), and Qatar National Research Foundation (QNRF).

Dr. Pei-Hsing Huang received his Ph.D in molecular simulation and laser sintering from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of National Cheng Kung University in 2008. He is currently a full Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. As the advisor of Micro/Nanomechanics and Molecular Simulation Lab, he presided over more than 40 national and industrial scientific research projects. He conducts research focusing on nano-materials, interfacial science, laser/casting processing, and molecular fluid separation/purification. He published over 50 research papers in cut-edge international journals and has awarded the special talents rewards from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan.

Chi Chiu Chan received the B.Eng. (Hons.) and Ph.D. degrees from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, in 1996 and 2000, respectively. From 2000 to 2003, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is currently a Distinguished Professor with the Sino-German College of Intelligent Manufacturing, Shenzhen Technology University, Shenzhen, China. His research interests include optical fiber sensing system, fiber Bragg grating device, fiber optics chemical sensors, photonics crystal fiber biosensor, digital signal processing, such as artificial neural network, fuzzy logic, genetic algorithm, and wavelet, smart structures, and fiber optics chemical and biomedical sensing areas. His accomplishment in these areas is demonstrated in his 200 international publications.

Dr. Xiang Peng received his PhD in Physics and Materials Science from City University of Hong Kong. He is now a Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Wuhan Institute of Technology. He has authored and co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed journal publications and H-index is 30, with more than 2300 citation. His research interests focus on synthesis of functional nanomaterials and their applications in energy related fields.

Dr Chandra Kumar Dixit is an expert Biotechnologist working in the applications area of integrated nano biosensors, microfluidic tools, and lab-on-a-chip devices. He was awarded a PhD degree in 2012 by Dublin City University, Ireland. With over 15 years of experience in new technology and assay development, he has over 5 years experience in IVD assay manufacturing. He possesses over 10 years of experience in ideation, strategic project development, leading projects and people towards timely result-oriented completion of the work. He has implemented highly interdisciplinary training into creating integrated platforms, such as Nano arrays, multiplexed biomarker detection chips, electrochemical and Nano diagnostic tools incorporating microfluidics. He holds intellectual properties and has transferred several technologies to the industry. Dr Dixit has also published over 40 journal articles, books, and chapters, He is currently serving on the editorial board of several reputed journals including Current Graphene Science and serves as a grant reviewer for several European foundations.

Dr. Ningbo Liao is a full professor of Wenzhou University. His research interests include multi-scale computation for micro/nano structures & materials, MEMS design, gas sensor, anode materials for LIBs, evolutionary computation for optimization of materials. He has published over 80 papers in SCI journals including Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Applied Materials Today, Acta Materialia. He was lead guest editor of Advances in Mechanical Engineering and is currently editorial board member of International Journal of Computational and Theoretical Chemistry and Journal of Chemistry (SCIREA).

Dr. Ali Shokuhi Rad is a Faculty Member of Chemical Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Department of Chemical Engineering, Qaemshahr, Iran. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran, Iran. He has published more than 100 articles in well-reputed national/international journals.

Dr. Tejendra Kumar Gupta is an Assistant Professor and Programme Leader of Postgraduate Courses at the Amity Institute of Applied Sciences, Amity University, India. He was awarded a PhD in Physical Science from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR)-CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, India. His research interests include Synthesis of Nanomaterials (Carbon nanotubes, 2-dimensional materials such as graphene, MoS2, WS2, Quantum dots, carbon/graphene foam etc.) and surface modifications, Synthesis of lightweight and stretchable polymer nanocomposites, mechanical properties (flexural/tensile strength, Young’s modulus, nanomechanical properties), electrical properties, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, strain sensing (Piezoresistive properties) of polymer nanocomposites, self-sensing, Polymer nanocomposites for Biomedical Implants. He has contributed his valuable publications in different scientific journals. He is also a member of Indian Carbon Society, and a reviewer of several journals like Nanotechnology, Materials Research Express, Polymer Composite, High-Performance Polymers, J. of Nanomaterials etc.

Dr. Zhigang Yin is currently a Full Professor at Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He received his PhD degree in Materials Physics and Chemistry from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Then, he worked as a Research Scholar and Visiting Professor (DAAD Fellowship) at Humboldt-Universität Zu Berlin, Germany and Visiting Scientist at Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society. His research interests include optoelectronic materials and devices, flexible electronics, surfaces/interfaces, and carrier dynamics. Dr. Yin is currently the Editorial Board Member of Current Graphene Science, published by Bentham Science Publishers.

Dr Qiu is a confirmed scientist dedicating to the research of advanced carbon nanomaterials in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. He pursued his PhD degree in Materials of Chemistry at Dalian University of Technology & Peking University, respectively. In 2007, he worked at the University of Tsukuba, Japan, as a postdoctoral researcher. Dr Qiu has authored more than eighty publications within peer-reviewed journals. He has received financial supports from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Outstanding Talent Foundation of Shanghai, as well as Research Awards from the Elsevier publisher.

Dr. Wei Ma received her PhD degree in Applied Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry at East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) in 2012. After completing her one-year postdoctoral study at the University of Texas at Austin, she returned to ECUST. Dr. Ma is currently an Associate Professor at ECUST , since 2007. Her main research interest includes integrated biosensors and bio-interfaces, single-nanoparticle electrochemistry and Nano electrochemistry.

Prof. Duan is currently a Professor at the College of Electronic Sci. & Eng, Jilin University, China and a Researcher of the State Key Laboratory of Integrated Optoelectronics, China. His primary research interests are in organic semiconductors and optoelectronics. He has more than 130 refereed papers, 10 issued patents, and 30 invited talks. His significant contribution to the organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) community includes the understanding of thin-film encapsulation and atomic layer deposition technology (ALD); since 2012, he has also engaged in water vapour transmission rate of electronics and achieved 8.7 ⅹ 10 -6 g/m 2 /day via ALD.

Muhammad Aamir received his Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry for Synthesis of Metal Halide Perovskite Materials for light harvesting applications at the Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, Pakistan in 2018. After a post-doctoral stay at Lahore University of management sciences (LUMS), Lahore, he moved to Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirour-10250 (AJK) as an Assistant Professor in Chemistry. He has authored several research publications that includes original research articles, reviews and book chapter in the field of materials. His research interest involve the exploitation of green routs for the development of new materials for various applications in the field of photovoltaics, photocatalysis and chemical fuel conversions.

Dr. Jia Zhang is a professor at the School of Mechatronics Engineering at the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), China. He received a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering at HIT in 2014. After that, he became a full-time faculty at the School and Key Laboratory of Microsystem and Microstructure Manufacturing, Ministry of Education, HIT. His research interests are focused on fundamental and applied aspects of nano/micro-scale fabrication as well as materials and patterning techniques for electronic and photonic devices. He has published more than 50 papers in journals as well as 7 authorized patents. He has also served as a peer-reviewer in several international journals.

Dr. Shengqiang Ma did his B.Sc., M.Sc. and PhD from School of Materials Science and Engineering, Xi’an University of Technology (2001-2012). Currently, he is Associate Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University. His research interests focus on the abrasive wear resistance of materials, corrosion and oxidation of alloys, liquid metal corrosion and embrittlement, solid phase transformation, coatings and control of interfacial films. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed journal publications, including Acta Materialia and Corrosion Science, etc.

Dr. Daping completed his Postdoc from the University of Science and Technology of China (cooperative with Prof. Yadong Li and Prof. Zhaoxiang Deng), University of Bath (cooperative with Prof. Frank Marken) and University of Cambridge (cooperative with Dr. Laura Torrent). He was awarded as Newton International Fellow in 2014 by Royal Society of Chemistry and was back to work in Wuhan University of Technology by January 2017, as a member of Hubei Engineering Research Center of RF-Microwave Technology and Application and director of Innovation Lab of Interdisciplinary research. His research interest is preparation and application of nano composite materials, such as synthesis and structure control of advanced graphene materials, interface design of noble metal and application of these materials into new energy devices, sensors and areas of RF microwaves. He has published more than 40 papers in SCI journals including Nature Communication, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Advanced Materials with around 600 citing times.

Dr. Li Fu studied Environmental chemistry from Swinburne University of Technology (Australia) and received his BS degree in 2012. He received his BS(Honors) from Swinburne, in 2013 and then completed his PhD from the same University in 2017. He joined Hangzhou Dianzi University as lecturer in 2017, where he was appointed as an Associate professor in 2018. His research interests include 2D materials synthesis and functionalization, biosensing, archaeological analysis and plant taxonomy. He has authored and co-authored more than 70 refereed journal publications (citations 1100, H index= 21), 1 book and 6 invited book chapters. He served as a guest associate editor for Frontiers in Chemistry.

Dr Junshuai Li is currently a Professor (2011.12-) at School of Physical Science & Technology, Lanzhou University, China. Prior to holding this position, Dr Li performed research on preparation of high-performance PV materials and structures, design and fabrication of advanced Si nanostructure-based PV devices at Saitama University, Japan (2006.10-2008.09) and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2008.09-2012.03). Now his main research interest focuses on the optical and electrical behaviors in subwavelength semiconductor structures, novel semiconductor materials and renewable energy devices.

Dr. Pingge He received her Ph. D. degree from Central South University and visited Purdue University as a visiting scholar from 2014 to 2017. Currently, she is an associate professor at the Institute of Advanced Materials and Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing, China. Her research is currently focused on the controllable synthesis of nanostructures and their applications in energy storage systems (supercapacitors and batteries).

Dr. Jingjie Wu, Ph.D., is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. To date, Dr. Wu has published over 40 publications in top international journals, including Nature Energy, ACS catalysis and ACS Nano. His research is focused on the heterogeneous catalysis for sustainable chemical synthesis based on coupled energy sources. Furthermore, his recent focus is on the electrochemical, thermochemical, photothermal, and magnetothermal conversion of Ca molecules and N2 into commodity chemicals or alternative fuels. He is also interested in the design and fabrication of nano/micro-scale stretchable energy storage devices for powering nano-bioelectronics and microelectronics.

Shuang Li received her Bachelor degree at Sichuan University, and then she moved to Shanghai Jiao Tong University for Master’s degree studies from 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Yuezeng Su and Prof. Xinliang Feng. During Master period, she took part in the ERC grant 2DMATER at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany in 2013. After finishing the Master study, she became a research scholar from 2014 at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in the group of Prof. Nicolas A. Kotov. From 2015, she was doing her Ph.D research studies in the group of Prof. Arne Thomas in chemistry at Technische Universität Berlin. Now, she is going to start her independent postdoc researches at Technische Universität Berlin. Her current research focuses on synthesis of metal-organic precursors based porous carbon and graphene based nanocomposites and their applications as advanced electrode and catalytic materials.

Dr. Wenyao Li received his PhD degree in Material Physics and Chemistry from Donghua University (2014). He is now an Associate professor in Shanghai University of Engineering Science. He has authored and co-authored more than 50 refereed journal publications and H-index is 26, and held over 20 patents. His current research interests focus on the preparation, characterization and application of low-dimensional semiconductor nanomaterials, and exploring the application of these nanomaterials in the new generation of energy storage devices, such as supercapacitors, Li- ion batteries, and optical and electrochemical catalysis.

Dr. Meng Li received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from National University of Singapore in 2015 and worked as postdoctoral research fellow at the same institute in 2015-2016. Dr. Li joined Chongqing University as Assistant Professor in School of Energy Power Engineering in 2017. Dr. Li has been serving as an Associate Professor at Chongqing University. Dr. Li has published more than 40 articles in peer- reviewed journals on synthesis of Nano-functional materials for the applications of energy storage and conversion.

Dr. Chen Zhang received his Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry from Tianjin University, China, and continued his research in the School of Marine Science and Technology at the same university. His research focuses on novel carbon materials (graphene, graphene oxide, activated carbons, etc.) with their applications in energy storage and environmental protection, including lithium-sulfur batteries, lithium-ion batteries and supercapacitors. His research has contributed to over 40 peer-reviewed papers, with more than 1600 total citations. Additionally, Dr. Zhang won the Carbon Journal Prize in 2016.

Dr. Samantara is a post-doctorate fellow in School of Chemical Sciences at National Institute of Science Education and Research, Khordha, Odisha, India. He has Doctorate in Science from CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, India. He obtained his Master of philosophy in chemistry from Utkal University and Master of Science in Advanced Organic Chemistry from Ravenshaw University, Odisha. Dr. Samantara’s has authored in 19 peer reviewed international journals, Six Books (two Books in Springer, Two in Arcler Publications, Two in Indian Publishing houses) and four Book Chapters. In his credit he has honored with various national and international Awards.

Dr. Sellamuthu N. Jaisankar obtained his Ph.D. degree (2003) in Polymer Technology from Anna University, Chennai, India. Dr. Jaisankar is currently Principal Scientist in the Polymer Science Technology Division at Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - Central Leather Research Institute (CSIR-CLRI), Chennai, India. His skills and expertise mainly lie in the subject areas of Single-walled carbon nanotubes, Polymer clay nanocomposites, Interpenetrating networks (IPNs), Synthesis of ionic liquid crystal polymers (LCP), Blocked isocyanates, Hybrid nanogel and Graft copolymers. Dr. Jaisankar, as an author/co-author, has published more than 50 articles in various journals, having over 490 total citations.

Dr.Sohrabi received M.Sc. from Tarbiat Moallem University. He further obtained Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Hussein Gharibi from same institute. He is presently working as an Associate Professor of physical chemistry at Iran Science and Technology University. His skills and expertise are in Physical Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Surfactants, Micelles, Zeta Potential, Micellar Systems, Hydrophobic and Hydrophilic Interactions and Super hydrophobicity. He has contributed more than 40 publications, having citations around 528.

Professor Babak Jaleh received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Physics at Amirkabir University of Technology (2004) in Iran. He has been a professor at the Bu Ali Sina University, Iran since 2016. In addition, Prof. Jaleh serves as the Director of the Nanocomposite Lab and at Bu Ali Sina University. His research interests include physicochemical properties of graphene supported metal nanoparticles and their applications in Physics and also as catalyst in Organic reactions. He has published more than 80 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, 100 conference papers, 1 book chapter and 3 national patents. He has received many awards in Iran.

Dr. Shirzadmehr received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry in 2014 from Bu-Ali Sina University, Hamedan, Iran. He is currently working in Mazandaran Wood Paper Industries, Sari, Iran as a Production Controller and also as a researcher in Young Researchers and Elite Club, Sari Branch, Islamic Azad University, Sari, Iran. His research interests are based within the fields of analytical, bioanalytical and environmental chemistry, Electrochemical Sensors, Nano-chemistry, Graphene nano-structures, Molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) nano-particles, Ion imprinted polymer (IIP) nano-particles particularly applied aspects of determination sciences, including new materials and technologies for application within electrochemical sensors for detecting of hazardous species.

Ji-Ming Song received his PhD degree in inorganic chemistry from University of Science and Technology of China in 2007, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the Microscale from June, 2007 to May, 2009. He worked in Carnegie Mellon Unversity as a visiting scholar from November, 2013 to November, 2014. Currently he is a professor of Anhui University. His research fields are the synthesis, assembly, characterization and applications of nanomaterials, such as  thermoelectricity, photocatalysis, and supercapacitor. Dr. Ji-Ming has published over 60 papers in refereed international journals, one chapter of book, and ten authorized patents.

Dr. M. A. Hussein is an Associate professor at Assiut University (AU), Egypt and King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Saudi Arabia. He obtained his BSc and PhD in Polymer. He secured a post-doctoral position in the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France and University Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. He visited Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and University of Porto (UP) as visiting researcher. His research interest is in the area of smart materials including: polymers polymer composites. Dr. Hussein published +70 research articles in ISI journal and attended several conferences and workshops in the field of polymer chemistry and martial science.

Lin Huang is currently a research scientist at the Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences, A*STAR, Singapore. He received his DEA and PhD in surface organometallic chemistry and catalysis from the Institut de Recherches sur la Catalyse, CNRS, France. His research interests include surface organometallic chemistry, metal catalysis towards hydroformylation, carbon-carbon coupling, ethanol steam reforming and hydrogenation of monoglyderides, solid acid catalysis for dehydration of biomass derivatives such as glycerol and lactic acid, conversion of syngas to light olefins.

Chong Cheng is a DRS and AvH postdoc researcher in Freie Universität Berlin. He obtained his BS degree in Biomedical Engineering, Sichuan University. Then, he pursued his Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. Changsheng Zhao. From 2013, he had been doing research works at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with Prof. Nicholas A. Kotov as Joint-Training Ph.D. student. After finishing his Ph.D studies, he joined the group of Prof. Dr. Rainer Haag as a DRS POINT and Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Freie Universität Berlin.

Dr. Tifeng Jiao is a professor and vice director of School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering, Yanshan University. He received his PhD degree in physical chemistry from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. Afterwards he worked at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France) as a Postdoctoral Associate of CNRS. Now his research interests focus on the preparation, assembly and applications of nanomaterials and nanocomposites. Up to now, he has published more than 110 SCI-indexed papers and acted as peer reviewers for more than 30 Journals as well as Guest Editors of several journals.

Hossein Roghani-Mamaqani was born in Tabriz on August 11, 1985. He completed his bachelor’s degree in polymer engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT). As an MSc student, he worked on synthesis of nanocomposites by in situ controlled radical methods at the same university and was awarded the Outstanding MSc Researcher Prize. He completed his PhD with a project on in situ synthesis of nanocomposites with carbon based nanofillers like graphene and carbon nanotube and also various grafting reactions. He worked in Petrochemical Research and Technology Company as a researcher. He has been working as advisor to president of Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI). Currently, he is an assistant professor of Polymer Engineering Department at Sahand University of Technology. He was nominated as the young recognized assistant professor by National Elite Foundation. Also, he is a member of Iran Polymer Society and Iran Chemical Engineering Society. His research interest lies in the area of polymerization reactions and kinetics, controlled/living polymerization reactions in various reaction mediums.

Dr. Jerzy Pawel Lukaszewicz: born 07.06.1952 in Lodz (Poland). Completed MSc in Chemistry at Nicholas Copernicus University (NCU), Torun (Poland) and then obtained his PhD and DSc (Habilitation) from the same University in the area of Chemistry and Materials Science. Currently, he is employed at the Faculty of Chemistry NCU as Associate Professor, Head of Chair of Materials Chemistry Adsorption and Catalysis, Director of Center of Modern Interdisciplinary Technology of NCU. His current research interests: N-rich activated carbons, Graphene exfoliation and 3-D structurization, Biomass thermal degradation. He has authored and co-authored more than 100 papers and patents and Participated at more than 200 conferences.

Dr. Lai Chin Wei currently serves as a senior lecturer in the Nanotechnology & Catalysis Research Centre, University of Malaya. He received his Ph.D (2013) from School of Materials and Mineral Resources Engineering, University of Science Malaysia in nanomaterials and nanoscience. Lai has won several prestigious universities, national and international awards, such as Gold medal winner-World Invention Awards London (British Invention Show) in 2011 and international Conference and Exposition on Invention of Institutions of Higher Learning (PECIPTA) in 2013. Lai’s works have been published in more than 65 refereed international top-tier journals with h-index of 13 and 75 international proceedings in materials science, physics, chemistry, and renewable energy researches. Lai’s main research interests are in the areas of chemically modified metal oxide photocatalysts and graphene materials, especially applied in environmental pollution management and solar energy technology.

Dr Paula Alexandrina de Aguiar Pereira Marques received a PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering (2003), a Masters’ degree in Physics and Chemistry Teaching (1997) and a Bachelors’ degree in Chemistry (1993) from the University of Aveiro. Since 2014, she has been a Principal Researcher (Programa Investigador FCT) at TEMA, Mechanical Engineering Department, UA, PT. Also, she is an Invited Professor at Machine Elements, Department of Engineering Sciences and Mathematics, Lulea University of Technology, Sweden. Besides, she is a member of the Council of the Mechanical Engineering Department and scientific/pedagogic commission of the Mechanical Engineering Department, UA, PT. Moreover, she has published several research papers in well-reputed international journals.

Rajesh Kumar is a visiting scientist in the Center for Semi-conductor Components and Nanotechnology (CCS Nano), University of Campinas (UNICAMP), São Paulo, Brazil.. He earned his Ph.D. (Physics) degree from Department of Physics, Banaras Hindu University (B.H.U), India. He has worked in KAIST, Daejeon (Postdoctoral Researcher) and Yonsei University (Research Professor), Seoul, South Korea. His main research interests are the synthesis, characterization, modifications, assemblies and applications of the graphitic carbon nano-materials as graphene and CNTs. He has published two international book chapters, five review articles and several research articles in peer-reviewed international journals.

Dr. de Oliveira obtained a doctorate (D.Sc.) in Physics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (Brazil) and post doctorate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA). Currently, Dr. de Oliveira is an Associate Professor of Federal University of Sao Francisco Valley (Brazil). He has published more than 60 papers and is inventor of 6 Brazilian patents. Dr. de Oliveira is currently the Review Editor of Frontiers in Materials.

Dr. Lingxin Chen obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Analytical Chemistry from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Currently Dr. Chen is professor at the Yantai Institute of Coastal Zone Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published more than 200 scientific publications and is a named inventor of 20 issued Chinese patents. Dr. Chen is currently the Editorial Board Member of this journal (Current Graphene Science), published by Bentham Science Publishers.

Basudeb Basu did Ph.D. from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, working on the synthesis of fused and bridged ring systems related to natural products. He has been working at North Bengal University, Siliguri, India and currently as Professor of Chemistry. He did post-doctoral works at Case Western Reserve University, Ohio, USA (1987-’89) on total synthesis of marine natural products, and at Lund University, Sweden (1994-’96), on asymmetric synthesis of non-natural amino acids. He was Visiting Professor in Sweden, France, Taiwan, China. His current research interests include new reactions and methodology involving graphene-based materials and green chemistry.

Dr. Zhenyu Sun obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Physical Chemistry from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. Currently, Dr. Zhenyu Sun is Full Professor in the College of Chemical Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He has published more than 76 scientific publications, 1 book chapter and is a named inventor of 2 issued Chinese patents.

Dr. Banerjee obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. Dr. Banerjee also holds Masters Degree in Physics from the University of Bombay, India. Currently Dr. Banerjee is a Professor in Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata, India. He has published more than 120 peer reviewed scientific publications in international journals and has authored several chapters in books.

Dr. Jahangir Ahmad Rather is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. He completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship (Non-Postdoc Fellowship by the Belgian Science Policy, Belspo) from the Environmental Analysis group, Department of Chemistry, University of Antwerp, Belgium. He received his PhD and MSc in chemistry from the Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India in 2011 and 2008 respectively.

His research focus involves development of electrochemical sensors based on graphene, carbon nanotubes and biosensors based on Enzymes and Aptamers conjugated nanomaterials for detection of the endocrine disruptors in real samples. He has used solubilized system for the electroanalysis of target molecules, which may lead to the path of green technology. He has published 25 articles in high impact journals.

Dr. Chigo obtained a doctorate in Chemical Science from the University Autonomous of Puebla, Puebla, Mexico. Dr. Chigo received a Master of Science (Physics) degree from the same university. Dr. Chigo is full professor at the University Autonomous of Puebla, Faculty of Chemical Engineering. He has published more than 66 scientific publications with more than 270 citations. Dr. Chigo was the funding Editor (2014) and is currently the Editor in Chief of Mex. J. Mat. Sci. Eng. (Mexican scientific journal).

Dr. Surbhi Sharma completed her PhD on graphene oxide (Ulster University) in 2011. Before this, she acquired her BSc. (Hons.) degree in Physics followed by Masters in Nanoscience. She worked at the Centre for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Research (University of Birmingham, 2011-2016) as a teaching fellow. She is also a Fellow of Higher Education Academy. She has extensively studied graphene materials and their applications in low temperature fuel cells and other electrochemical systems. She has also explored polymer-metal nanoparticle hybrid coatings for stainless steel bipolar plates and bacteria assisted simultaneous reduction of and metal nanoparticle deposition on graphene. She has over 24 peer reviewed journal publications (citations 1250). She is also the Editorial Board Member for the journal Nano-Micro Letters, Springer.

Dr N. Balasubramanian is currently a Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, A.C.Tech Campus, Anna University, India. He received a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, IIT Madras, India. His area of expertise includes the development of graphene-based polymer nanocomposite for energy storage, Membrane Bioreactor, Advanced Oxidation, Electrochemical treatment of organic effluent, Improvement of Biodegradability index through the advanced oxidation process, Low-temperature process for spent carbon reactivation, and Safety and Risk Assessment of Chemical Process industry. He has published more than 80 articles in well-reputed international journals and has also presented in 26 international and 11 national conferences.

Dr Jinli Qiao is a Professor, PhD Supervisor and Scientific Core-Competency Leader at Donghua University, China. She received her PhD in Electrochemistry from Yamaguchi University, Japan, in 2004, As the first/corresponding author, Dr Qiao has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, 40 conferences and Keynote/invited oral presentations, 4 book chapters (CRC press), 2 co-edited books, more than 25 Japan/China invention patents and 11 authorized. She is the Vice President of the International Academy of Electrochemical Energy Science (IAOEES) and the Board Member of Electro-membrane Association of China (EMAC). She has more than 20 years of scientific research experience, particularly in the area of electrochemical material development and energy storage and conversion including PEM fuel cells, supercapacitors and metal-air batteries and CO2 electroreduction.

Dr. Weiwei Lei obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) from State Key Lab of Superhard Materials, Jilin University, China (2010). He was a research fellow at The Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Germany in 2010–2011. He is a senior research scientist at Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM), Deakin University, Australia under an ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA). He is a member of The Editorial Board of Scientific Reports from the publishers pf Nature from 2015. His research interests include development of two-dimensional nanomaterials and their composite films for environmental protection, energy storage, and photonic and biological applications.

Dr. Qing Peng is a Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, visiting scholar of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an adjunct professor at the Wuhan University. His research focuses on advanced materials mechanics using multiscale, first-principles, molecular dynamics, and finite-element modeling and simulations. He is the main developer of the QCDFT (Quasi-Continuum Density Functional Theory) which allows standard density functional theory calculations of materials at micron scales and beyond. His most recent work is about mechanics under extreme conditions, including high dose radiation damage.

Xibin Wang received B.S. in Electronic Science and Technology, M.S., and Ph.D. in Microelectronics and Solid Electronics from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2008, 2010, and 2013, respectively. He is currently a Professor of College of Electronic Sci. & Eng, Jilin University, and a Researcher of the State Key Laboratory of Integrated Optoelectronics, China. His current research interests include second-order nonlinear optical polymer materials, as well as active and passive polymer waveguide and PLC devices for optical interconnect and sensor applications. He has published more than 70 refereed papers, 14 issued patents. His significant contribution to polymer waveguide devices includes thermo-optic switches, electro-optic switches/modulators, waveguide sensors, mode-division (de)multiplexers, and graphene-integrated waveguide devices.

Dr. Suvendu Manna earned Ph.D. on wastewater treatment. He is currently an Assistant Professor in University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. His current research interest includes graphene oxide and other nanomaterials synthesis, characterization, application of nanomaterials in water treatment, surface modification of graphene oxide and other nanomaterials. Dr. Manna currently published 24 research and review articles.

Dr. Yong Jin Zhou, IEEE Member, OSA Member, and Senior Member of Chinese Institute of Electronics. His current research interests include plasmonic metamaterials and applications, millimeter wave and THz functional devices, wireless energy transmission. He received the B.S. degree in communication engineering from Shandong University, Jinan, China, in 2006, and Ph.D. degree in electromagnetic field and microwave technology from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2011, respectively. From 2009 to 2010, he was a visiting scholar of University of Houston. From 2011 to 2012, he was a software engineer with EEBU of Marvell Technology (Shanghai) Ltd. From 2012 to 2015, he was an Assistant Professor with School of Communication & Information Engineering, Shanghai University, Shanghai, China. From 2015, he was an Associate Professor with School of Communication & Information Engineering, Shanghai University, Shanghai, China. He has authored and coauthored over 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He is serving as a Reviewer for over 20 peer-reviewed journals, such as Nature Electronics, Photonic Research, Optics Letter, Optics Express, Appl. Phys. Express, IEEE Access, IEEE MTT, IEEE MWCL, etc. He has served as a session chair for several International Symposiums.

Dr. Dan Li has received Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from East China University of Science and Techno (ECUST). Currently Dr. Dan Li is an Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry, Shanghai Institute of Technology. He has published over 40 journal papers. His current research interests are surface-enhanced Raman scattering; electro-optical sensor; in-situ spectro-electrochemistry; analytical chemistry & environmental science.

Dr. Evgeniy G. Shustin is currently acting as a senior, leading and principal researcher and head of experimental Group of Plasma Electronics in V.A, Kotelnikov Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics of RAS, Fryazino branch, Russia. He did his PhD in plasma physics from Kotelnikov Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics in the year 1969. Dr. Shustin is author and co-author of around 100 scientific publications.

Dr. Ghasali has received Ph.D. in Materials engineering from Materials and Energy Research Center (MERC), Iran, and works at Material and Energy research center, Iran as researcher. He has published over 40 journal papers. Dr. Ghasali does research in Materials Engineering. His current projects are Novel bio-inspiration carbon structure, novel MAX phases and high entropy composite.

Dr. Akbarpour has received Ph.D. in Materials engineering from Materials and Energy Research Center (MERC), Iran, and works at University of Maragheh, Iran as a faculty member. Currently Dr. Akbarpour is an Associate Professor of Materials Science and Engineering, and the Director of Material Engineering department, University of Maragheh. He has published over 50 journal papers. Dr. Akbarpour does research in Materials Engineering. His current projects are 'shape memory and intermetallic matrix nanocomposites, and metal-carbon composites and coatings.

Dr. Alfonso Policicchio graduated in Physics in 2004 from Università della Calabria. Later in 2007, he did PhD in Physics from the same university. After his PhD, he carried out his teaching activities in the fields of basic and applied physics in various institutions. Since 2004, he is a collaborator in the spin-off company of the CNR DeltaE srl that is responsible for the scientific R D activities. Dr. Policicchio is currently responsible in the development of innovative systems and procedures for energy raw materials.

Dr Ahmed Thabet Mohamed is currently a Professor and an Associate Professor at The Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Energy, Engineering, Aswan University, Egypt. He received PhD (Electrical Engineering) from The Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of El-Minia Engineering, El-Minia University, Egypt. His research interests include Nano-Science Engineering Materials, Utilization of Renewable Energy, High Voltage Engineering, Distribution network enhancement planning, Switchgear and Protection Models, Energy Engineering Applications, and Electric Power Quality. Due to his outstanding contribution, he received several awards and has published many articles in well-reputed journals.

Dr. Yu earned his Masters degree in 2003 and PhD in 2006 from The National University of Singapore (NUS). He currently serves as the Adjunct Associate professor at The Department of Materials Science and Engineering, NUS. He has been awarded with the The Distinguished Lectureship Award for work on computational materials science by the Chemical Society of Japan in March 2011.and The FY15 best paper award (IHPC).His research interests focuses on developing first-principles electronic structure theory of solids, which includes studying: (i) electronic structures and stabilities of superlattices and interfaces; (ii) magnetic properties of semiconductors; (iii) optoelectronic properties of photovoltaic and light-emitting materials; (iv) electronic properties of organic and hybrid semiconductors, etc.

Shicai Xu, PhD, Professor, currently serves in Shandong Key Laboratory of Biophysics, Dezhou University. He received his PhD in College of Physics and Electronics, Shandong Normal University, PR China in 2014. His research focuses on biosensors based on nanomaterials and nanodevices, including: preparing graphene; field-effect transistor (FET), fluorescence, optical fiber biosensors, and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy; and the fabrication and applications of low-dimension nanomaterials. Prof. Xu has published over 70 peer-reviewed journal articles and is a coinventor of 8 patent applications. His total citation is 1449 and h-index is 23 according to Google Scholar.

Charles Ahamefula Ubani is a Ph.D. graduate (Physics) of the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and a holder of a Master's Degree in Energy Technology (UKM). As a graduate research assistant (2009 - 2012), he supported research students in setting up experimental apparatus, edit papers for publication in impact factor journals and indexed conferences. Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI) retained him as a postdoctoral research fellow since his Ph.D. program in 2013 to sustain research projects on sensitized solar cells. He is also a certified reviewer of the Solar Energy Journal, Applied Physics Journal, Royal Society of Chemistry Advance and Indian Journal of Physics. He is very keen to contribute his experience to strengthen Current Graphene Science.

Rachid Masrour, from Morocco, actually, is research professor in the National School of Applied Sciences at the University of Cadi Ayyad, Safi, Morocco where he has been a faculty member since April 2011. Dr. Rachid Masrour completed his Ph.D. in March 2006 at University of Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah, Fez, Morocco. His research interests lie in the area of Magnetism of materials and Condensed Matter Physics. He has 220 articles published in Thomson Reuters and 9 book chapters published in international journal. He participated in more 70 Moroccan and international congress. He's a Referee of a several articles and also Editorial Board Members in different international journal. He has a lot of collaboration with laboratories from abroad.

Dr. Angel Guillermo Bracamonte received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Organic Chemistry Department, Faculty of Chemical Sciences, University of Cordoba, Argentina (UNC). Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at INFIQC (Institute of Physics and chemical Research of Cordoba, Argentine) Organic Chemistry Department, Faculty of Chemical Sciences, National University of Cordoba, Argentina (UNC). Besides, he is a reviewer of journals like; Journal of Material Chemistry C, Journal of Nanophotonics, Scientific Reports, Chemical Communications, and Current Nanomaterials. His areas of expertise include Analytical Chemistry, Hybrids Nanomaterials, Nanophotonics, Biophotonics and Genomics, Nanomedicine.

Dr. Ram Gupta joined Pittsburg State University as an Assistant Professor in 2013. Before joining to Pittsburg State University, he worked as an Assistant Research Professor at Missouri State University, Springfield, MO then as a Senior Research Scientist at North Carolina AT State University, Greensboro, NC. Dr. Gupta’s research focus on green energy production and storage using conducting polymers and composites, nanomaterials, optoelectronics and photovoltaics devices, organic-inorganic hetero-junctions for sensors, nanomagnetism, bio-based polymers, bio-compatible nanofibers for tissue regeneration, scaffold and antibacterial applications, bio-degradable metallic implants. He is a member of editorial board and reviewer for various leading science journals. Dr. Gupta has received several internal and external (NSF, DoE, KINBRE, USA) funding to promote research and educational activities.

Aneeya Kumar Samantara, PhD, is presently working as a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Chemical Sciences, National Institute of Science Education and Research, Khordha, Odisha, India. Additionally, Dr. Samantara is working as Advisory Board member in Editorial Board of a number of Publishing Houses. Recently he joined as Community Board Member of the “Materials Horizon”, one of the most leading Journal in materials science of Royal Society of Chemistry, London. He has authored in 23 peer-reviewed international journal articles, Ten books (with Springer Nature, Nova Science, Arcler Press, Intech Open), and four book chapters.
