Abstract

Nuclear Astrophysics is a field at the joining of nuclear physics and astrophysics that try to find and recognize how nuclear processes shape the universe. In essence, we look in the present chapter for the connection between the properties of atomic nuclei and the properties of planets, stars, and galaxies. The present chapter encloses astrophysics of the universe, theories on the creation of the universe, formation of a star, thermonuclear reactions in stars, nucleosynthesis, a process for the production of elements, death of a star and the age of our Galaxy.

Keywords: Galaxy, Nuclear Astrophysics, Nucleosynthesis, Star, Universe.
