布氏杆菌病是由细胞内布氏杆菌引起的衰弱性高热疾病。 该病广泛分布在人和动物中,特别是在发展中国家。 如今,布鲁氏菌属中包括十种。 其中有4种对人类具有致病性,这使布鲁氏菌病成为人畜共患病,每年报告超过500,000例新病例。 对于人类布鲁氏菌病,最具致病性的物种是肉芽孢杆菌,其次是猪芽孢杆菌,而流产芽孢杆菌是布鲁氏菌病最轻的类型。 布鲁氏菌的感染机制很复杂,并且主要取决于其毒力因子。 该病的治疗方法包括接种疫苗和抗生素。 但是,目前可用的疫苗存在一些缺陷,例如较低的保护水平和安全性。 因此,仍在等待安全有效的布鲁氏菌病疫苗。 如果找到一种快速,准确的检测方法,则双重抗菌疗法可有效治疗布鲁氏菌病。
