真正神奇的药物和抗生素帮助挽救了无数人的生命。然而,抗生素耐药性是一个与健康有关的重大问题,它危及抗生素的有效性,并可能损害每个人的健康。产生抗生素耐药性的是细菌,而不是人类或动物。细菌使用群体感应通信路线来管理各种生理活动。群体感应对于适当的生物膜发育是重要的。当细菌在表面形成一层生物膜,保护它们免受抗感染药物的影响时,就会产生抗生素耐药性。酰基化的同丝氨酸内酯被革兰氏阴性微生物用作自诱导剂。然而,在世界范围内,眼部病原体的抗生素耐药性正在增加。细菌是全世界眼部感染的重要原因。革兰氏阴性微生物对眼组织是危险的。这篇综述强调了选择性药物靶点和治疗的使用,例如,联合治疗,以战胜抗生素耐药细菌。此外,它简要地描述了革兰氏阴性细菌带来的抗生素耐药性,以及在群体感应抑制剂和纳米技术的帮助下克服耐药性的方法,作为一种有前途的药物输送方法,可以提供抗微生物药物的保障,并改善群体感应抑制剂的管理途径,使抗微生物药物混合到明确的目标目的地,并通过生物膜渗透治疗眼部感染。它以方法论为中心,以新的视觉创新来回避眼部抗生素递送的限制。
