LncRNA FTH1P3:癌症相关治疗发展的新生物标志物

癌症是一个影响全世界的持久和紧迫的健康问题。不久前,被称为长链非编码rna (lncRNAs)的调节生物分子可能因其先天的丰度和稳定性而具有价值。这些单链rna可能会干扰许多人类病理情况,特别是癌症疾病中涉及的几种生理和生化细胞过程。铁蛋白重链1假基因3 (FTH1P3)是一种普遍转录的lncRNA,属于铁蛋白重链(FHC)家族,是一类主要在口腔鳞状细胞癌中发现的新型lncRNA。进一步研究表明,FTH1P3参与其他恶性肿瘤,如葡萄膜黑色素瘤、胶质瘤、食管鳞状细胞癌、非小细胞肺癌、乳腺癌、喉部鳞状细胞癌、宫颈癌等。因此,FTH1P3通过许多特定机制显著增强肿瘤症状,包括细胞增殖、侵袭、转移、化疗耐药和抑制凋亡。值得注意的是,临床数据明显表明FTH1P3过表达与所检查样本的不良预后和较差的总生存率相关。在此,我们总结了迄今为止发表的关于FTH1P3的所有研究(13篇),重点关注FTH1P3调控机制的生物学功能及其可能的临床意义。
