肝脏接触到几种有害物质,这些物质有可能造成过度的肝损伤,从肝炎和非酒精性脂肪性肝病到肝硬化和肝细胞癌的极端情况。很早以前,肝病就被中药配方有效治疗,后来在日本也被用于对照试验。然而,这些传统做法在过去几乎没有被很好地描述,直到最近几十年才进行了更多合格的研究。现代进步已经产生了特定的分子靶标,它们是影响在分子水平上发挥作用的复杂机制的特别好的候选者。这些治疗方案主要通过抑制基因表达水平或阻断必要的分子通路或释放细胞因子来影响疾病的进展,可能在最大限度地减少组织损伤方面发挥重要作用。因此,这篇综述试图阐明从古代到现在治疗良恶性肝病的疗法的变化。尽管如此,探索中药治疗良性慢性肝病以及防治HCC的临床研究仍有必要。
