肌肽(β-丙氨酰-L-组氨酸)是一种内源性合成的二肽,存在于不同的人体组织中,例如:在肾脏。肌肽被酶血清肌苷酶降解,由CNDP1基因编码。肌肽在肾脏中参与不同的代谢途径。它降低了促炎和纤维化细胞因子的水平,抑制了晚期糖基化终产物的形成,而且还减少了肾小球膜细胞的增殖。肌肽也可以用作过氧化物和羟基的清除剂以及天然的血管紧张素转化酶抑制剂。 这篇综述总结了关于肌肽在肾脏疾病,特别是慢性肾脏疾病,缺血/再灌注引起的急性肾衰竭,糖尿病性肾病以及药物引起的肾毒性中的作用的实验和人体研究结果。讨论了血清肌肽浓度与CNDP1基因中血清肌苷酶活性和多态性之间的相互作用。 肌肽具有肾脏保护特性。它在治疗和预防不同的肾脏疾病,特别是慢性肾脏疾病(具有全球公共卫生问题)方面具有广阔的发展潜力。肌肽在肾脏中的作用的进一步研究可能为肾脏疾病的治疗提供创新和有效的策略。
