Abstract

Graphene-based nano-materials have received great attention in energy and
environmental applications. Their unique physicochemical assets, like high electron
mobility, high thermal stability, high surface area, chemical flexibility, and mechanical
solidity, make them highly flexible materials for versatile applications. In this chapter,
the application of graphene-based nano-materials for the synthesis of 1,2,3-triazole
scaffolds is discussed in detail. As graphene possesses high carrier mobility, it
enhances the copper-catalyzed 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of azides and alkynes, leading
to the formation of 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles.
