长期接触环境碳氢化合物会增加台湾50岁及以上人群的痴呆症风险

摘要

背景:阿尔茨海默氏病是老年人痴呆症最常见的病因,是一种进行性且不可逆的神经退行性疾病。已知暴露于空气污染物会对人体健康产生不利影响,但对于空气中可引发痴呆症的碳氢化合物知之甚少。 目的:我们旨在调查长期暴露于空气中的碳氢化合物是否会增加患痴呆症的风险。 方法:本队列研究包括台湾地区178,085名年龄在50岁以上的人。使用Cox比例风险回归分析对两种目标污染物(包括总碳氢化合物和非甲烷碳氢化合物)的多种污染物模型进行拟合,并估计痴呆症的风险。 结果:在控制多种污染物之前,总烃量增加0.51-ppm时,总人群具有95%置信区间的危险比为7.63(7.28-7.99,p <0.001)和2.94(2.82-3.05,p <0.001) )在非甲烷碳氢化合物中的含量增加0.32 ppm。对于所有患者,每种目标污染物的不同多种污染物模型的最高调整危害比在统计学上均具有显着性(p <0.001):总碳氢化合物为11.52(10.86-12.24),非甲烷碳氢化合物为9.73(9.18-10.32)。 结论:我们的发现表明总碳氢化合物和非甲烷碳氢化合物可能有助于痴呆症的发展。
