Dr. Francesco Benedetto is currently the Chair of the IEEE 1900.1 Working Group on "Definitions and Concepts for Dynamic Spectrum Access: Terminology Relating to Emerging Wireless Networks, System Functionality, and Spectrum Management". Since 2008, he has been an Assistant Professor of Telecommunications at the Third University of Rome, where he currently teaches the courses of "Elements of Telecommunications", "Software Cognitive Radio", and “Cognitive Communications”. Dr. Evangelos Sapountzakis is Civil Engineer, Professor at the Institute of Structural Analysis and Antiseismic Research of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Diploma from NTUA (1984), MSc and DIC degrees from Imperial College, London (1985), PhD degree from NTUA (1991).
Apart from NTUA, he is also Professor of Structural Analysis at the School of Corps of Engineers of the Hellenic Army and the Hellenic Open University. His published research comprises 105 original papers in international journals, 143 papers in international conference proceedings, 12 Chapters in books and 5 educational books, while he is the editor of 4 Books or Conference Proceedings.
