Bai Yang

Bai Yang received his PhD in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Jilin University, China and is working on the design and synthesis of high performance optical polymer and then going on the preparation of polymer nanocomposite and hybrids with high refractive index and photo-electric functionalities. He received the Outstanding Youth Fund from NSFC and the honors of Chenug Kong Scholar from the Ministry of Education of China. He has published 430 SCI papers with sum citation of more than10600 times. His current research interests are focused on polymeric nano-hybridization and photo-electronic materials and devices via aqueous approaches, high performance polymeric hybrid optical materials and ordered fabrication of polymeric microstructures with multi-scale and photonic responsive materials.

H. Weman

H. Weman is known for his work with nanomaterials. He studied at Linköping University for a Master of Applied Physics and a doctorate in Materials Science at the dissertation Optical Studies of Excitonic Impact ionization and complex defects in silicon. He worked the same place from 1992 to 2005 as associate professor, while at the same time senior lecturer at the Swiss Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zurich. He has been a professor of nanoelectronics, nanophotonics and nanomagnetism at NTNU in Trondheim. There he has led a group of researchers in the field of nanopartners together with Professor Bjørn-Ove Fimland. Lavinia BALAN obtained the PhD degree from the University Henry Poincaré in Nancy, France, in 2005. Her PhD was devoted to the elaboration of an original material for the anode of Li-ion batteries. After a post doctorate in Orleans and then in Mulhouse, she joined the Department of Photochemistry of Mulhouse in 2006 as a CNRS Senior Researcher. She opened a new field of research in this laboratory, viz. the photo-assisted synthesis of metal nanoparticles and metal-polymer nanocomposite. Since December 2009, L. Biuck Habibi is Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Electroanalytical Chemistry Laboratory, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences, Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University, 53714-161 Tabriz (Iran). His research interests mainly concern on development of new electrochemical sensors, biosensors and in the area of synthesis and preparation of nanopaprticles and their application in electrocatalysis.
