Dr. Figovsky obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Materials Science from the Moscow Civil University. He is the director R&D of INRC Polymate, Israel, Hybrid Coating, Inc. and Nanotech Industries, Inc. (USA); He is Academician of EAS, RAASN and REA; President of Israel Association of Inventors; Chairman of the UNESCO chair "Green Chemistry"; Prof. Figovsky Laureate of the Golden Angel Prize, NASA Nanotech Briefs®’ Nano 50™ Award and the 2015 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award (USA). He has published more than 550 scientific publications, Including 16 books, and is a named inventor of 520 issued U.S and other countries patents. Prof. Figovsky is Editor-in-Chief of Journals: SITA (Israel) and Innovation on Corrosion and Materials Sciences, published by Bentham Science Publishers.
Dr. Zheng Weitao obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in the field of condensed matter physics from the Jilin University. Currently Dr. Zheng is the vice President of Jilin University, a full professor and doctoral supervisor, winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund, he was appointed Cheung Kong Distinguished Professor of Chinese Ministry of Education, and recommended by the Ministry of Education to the central government as a senior expert. Dr. Zheng also works as a member of International Centre for Diffraction Data (ICDD), Vice Chairman of the Chinese Society of Crystallography, board member of the Chinese Materials Research Society. He has published more than 400 scientific publications and these published papers has been cited more than 4000 times.

Dr. Stefano Caporali is presently an adjunct Professor of Material Science at the University of Florence. He graduated in Chemistry (1998), Geology (2010) and received his Ph. D. in Material Science (2006) from the University of Florence (Italy). He received Ph. D in materials science from Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academies of Sciences in 2001, from then on he worked in the institute. His research interests are the preparation technique and properties (mechanics, corrosion, tribology, thermology et al) of nanocrystalline metallic materials, and the relationship between different properties. He put forward the concept of intrinsic parameters associated with metallic materials corrosion. The corrosion properties and mechanism can be understood at atomic scale by these intrinsic parameters rather than by conventional parameters. He proposed ‘Severe Rolling Technique’ for producing bulk nanocrystalline metallic materials, this technique can be industrialized.

Davide Carboni graduated in 2005 at University of Sassari working on domino hydroformylation reactions. He then moved to Queen Mary, University of London, where in 2010 was awarded of a PhD after working on the synthesis and kinetic characterization of the first molecularly imprinted nanogels with Aldolase type I activity. In 2009 he was appointed Research Assistant at the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, University of Strathclyde, to work on new kinetic models for RCM reactions catalyzed by 2nd generation Grubbs pre-catalysts. In 2010 he moved back to University of Sassari as an independent Research Fellow in the LMNT.
