Following her PhD, she pursued post-doctoral training at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in the area of HIV acquisition and transmission in women. Currently Dr. Ghosh is an Assistant Professor at the George Washington University, Milken Institute School of Public Health. Her research interests are focused on HIV in women, specifically innate immune responses in the female reproductive tract and its regulation by sex hormones. Her current projects include working with adolescent girls, postmenopausal women and women who have experienced sexual violence and trauma.
