Yingjia Zhang is a Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. His research focuses on combustion chemistry, chemical kinetics and laser diagnostics in combustion. His research has been published over 50 journal papers in the leading combustion and physical chemistry journals including Combustion and Flame, Proceedings of the Combustion Institute, Journal of Physical Chemistry A, etc. He is the members of American Chemical Society, International Combustion Institute, China Internal Combustion Engine Society, Chinese Chemical Society and Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics.

Dr. Zuoti Xie is a research associate in Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials
Science, University of Minnesota, USA. He received his PhD degree in Physics from Fudan
University, China (2009). Later, he joined Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel) as a postdoc for
two years. In 2012, he moved to University of Minnesota. He is interested in the electronics
structures of the organic semiconductor and nano materials. The main research he is pursuing
now is understanding the relationship between the electrical transport through molecules and
device’s electronic structure. In order to test their electrical properties, Metal-Molecule-Metal
junctions are built by employing the conducting probe atomic force microscopy (CP-AFM) to
contact small numbers of molecules. Questions of interest include how the current-voltage
characteristics of these molecular junctions depend on molecular size, bonding and functional
group architecture, and the nature of the metal-molecule contacts.

He obtained his PhD from Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHEP, CAS) in 2012 in the field of application of nuclear techniques (e.g. mass spectrometry, synchrotron radiation, neutron activation analysis) to the environmental monitoring, supervised by Prof. Zhifang Chai and Prof. Diandou Xu. Now, He is working in the National Institutes for Quantum and Radiological Science and Technology, Japan as a senior researcher. His main responsibilities are to develop novel mass-spectrometric and radiometric methods to measure trace radioisotopes in environmental and bioassay samples related to the human nuclear activities, to provide information for rapid decision making in radiation emergency medicine.

Dr. Waldemar Ulmer is an Honorary Professor at MPI of Physics, Goettingen, Germany. He studied Physics/Mathematics in Stuttgart/Heidelberg. Also, he received a Diploma degree in Physics by ab-initio calculations in quantum chemistry. His research revolves around Quark model, Collaboration with CERN, Soliton physics, and nonlinear field theory. He has published his scientific papers in Int. J. Theor. Physics, Nuovo Cimento, Theor. Chim. Acta and Int. J. Quantum Chemistry working in the fields of biochemical calculations of anti-cancer drugs, the theory of physiological correlations, soliton processes, problems of theoretical physics.
