Aims & Scope
Current Melanoma Research & Therapy, an international peer-reviewed journal, aims to cover all the latest and outstanding developments in melanoma research and therapy.
The scope of the journal covers all aspects of basic and clinical melanoma research. Each issue contains a series of timely in-depth reviews and guest edited issues written by leaders in the field covering a range of current topics in research and therapy of melanoma.
Prof. Simone Mocellin is a surgical oncologist working at the Surgical Oncology Unit of the Veneto Institute of Oncology (IOV-IRCCS) of Padova (Italy) and at the Department of Surgery Oncology and Gastroenterology of the University of Padova (Italy). He is involved in the multidisciplinary treatment of cutaneous melanoma, soft tissue sarcomas and gastrointestinal cancers. In particular, he is an expert in the management of primary, locally advanced and metastatic tumors. He is also interested in clinical and translational research in the field of oncology, with special regard to cutaneous melanoma, soft tissue sarcomas and gastrointestinal cancers. He is the author of more than 200 full length scientific articles published in some of the most important international peer review medical journals.
