Dr. Quartuccio has been a visiting researcher and clinical research fellow in various national and international research institutes. In 2012 (June-November), he was a recipient of the Bradley-Alavi Student Fellowship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA and visiting student at the University of Turin (August 2013-March 2014). He was also appointed as a Clinical Research Fellow (October 2015-June 2017) at the Wolfson Molecular Imaging Centre, University of Manchester, UK and as an Honorary Clinical Fellow at the Nuclear Medicine Department of the Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (February 2016 - May 2017). Ernesto Roldan-Valadez, M.D., M.Sc., D.Sc., is a Mexican physician, Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist, and Researcher. He has worked as a consultant radiologist in Medical Imaging and Academic Publishing for public and private institutions in Mexico and internationally; since 2011, he has been a Professor in the master's and doctorate programs in Medical Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He finished his studies in Mexico: an MD degree (at the Autonomous University of Guerrero); later, he specialized in diagnostic radiology, a fellowship in whole-body MRI (2007-2008), and a Master's and Doctoral degrees in Medical Sciences (2008-2010 and 2011-2014 respectively); the UNAM granted his postgraduate diplomas. Dr. Roldan-Valadez holds medical societies membership related to his specialty in Mexico, Europe, and the USA. He combines his activities as a tutor for all ages (mentoring undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students), coach, clinical investigator, and consultant. Dr. Roldan has published scientific articles (1st author, coauthor, corresponding author) in indexed journals during the last 25 years. In September 2022, he reached 109 academic publications indexed in the US National Library of Medicine. His research lines include assessing the diagnostic performance of quantitative imaging biomarkers (X-ray, US, CT, MRI, PET) in diverse pathologies like Alzheimer's disease, brain tumours, liver diseases, systematic reviews, and meta-analysis related to medical imaging. In November 2017, he became a member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences, and in May 2021, he became a member of the National Academy of Medicine of Mexico.

Dr. Schober obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Physics from the Leibniz University of Hannover, Germany, and finished study of Medicine with a M.D.-Thesis at the Medical School Hannover, Germany. He has published more than 600 scientific publications. Dr. Schober is full Professor of Nuclear Medicine at the University of Münster, Germany. Dr. Schober is also Member and Delegate for Scientific Academies (acatech, National Academy of Science and Engineering; Union of the German Academy of Sciences and Humanities). Dr. Schober was the founding Director of the European Institute for Molecular Imaging (2007). He was and is Editor-in-Chief and Board member of different scientific Journals.

His group published the first papers on interior tomography and omni-tomography (“all-in-one”) to acquire diverse datasets simultaneously (“all-at-once”). His results were featured in Nature, Science, and PNAS, and recognized with awards. He wrote >430 peer-reviewed journal publications. He is Dellow of the IEEE, SPIE, OSA, AIMBE, AAPM, and AAAS.
