Dr. Neri is Research Director at INSERM and he is also Associate Professor at Université de Montreal, Quebec. He has published more than 55 scientific publications in the fields of human diseases and functional genomics. Dr. Neri was the founding Editor and is currently the Editor-in-Chief of Current Genomics, published by Bentham Science Publishers.

Jörg Hoheisel heads the Division of Functional Genome Analysis at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg. His research objectives are the assessment and description of the realisation and regulation of cellular functions, with a particular focus on the analysis of protein variations and interactions by means of affinity proteomics. Another line of work is Synthetic Biology for the establishment of artificial molecular systems. Prior to joining DKFZ, Jörg worked for five years at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund in London, UK.
