Dr. Cameron graduated from East Anglia University (Norwich,
UK) and obtained a doctorate (D.Phil.) from Sussex University
(Brighton, UK). After completing postdoctoral positions in the UK
and internationally, Dr. Cameron was awarded a Personal Chair
in Vascular Neurobiology at the University of Aberdeen
(Aberdeen, Scotland, UK). Currently he is Emeritus Professor of
Physiology at Aberdeen. Dr. Cameron has published more than
150 original papers, reviews and book chapters. He is currently
the Editor-in-Chief of this journal (Current Diabetes Reviews),
published by Bentham Science Publishers.
