Biography of Suowen Xu
Suowen Xu, Ph.D., is a vascular biologist and natural product pharmacologist. Dr. Xu received his Ph.D. in pharmacology in 2011. Currently, Dr. Xu is Research Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Rochester. He is a principal investigator interested in identifying novel therapeutic targets and molecular interventions of cardiovascular diseases. He was also an adjunct faculty member (Associate Professor) in the School of Pharmacy, The University of Queensland. He has published over 70 papers with an H-index of 28. He is an editorial board member of several journals and serves as reviewers for over 70 SCI journals.

Dr Eleonora Russo obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery with a summa cum laude in 2006 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. She completed her specialization in Cardiology with a summa cum laude in 2011 at the same university. Since 2009, she has attended EP lab at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. Dr. Russo, later joined Cardiac Arrhythmia Center at Centro Cardiologico Monzino as a fellow first, then as a cardiac electrophysiologist in EP Lab until 2017. Dr. Serra has collaboration with hemodynamics for the performance of cardiac catheterization in pulmonary hypertension, and collaboration with DH Cardiology for the management of patients with cardiomyopathy, pulmonary hypertension and severe heart failure. He has 72 publications in Italian and foreign journals. He did some presentations at national and international congresses such as ESC, AMNCO, SIEC and SIC. He belongs to various heart associations, such as AMNCO, SIC, SIEC,ESC, and ESC-HF.

Dr Uzoma N. Ibebuogu is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Division of Cardiovascular diseases and an Associate Professor of Preventive Medicine at the College of Medicine, University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr Ibebuogu obtained his medical degree from the prestigious College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and subsequently underwent Interventional Cardiology fellowship and structural heart disease training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center/the University of Los Angeles, California program.
