He is developing a research at the frontier between environmental engineering and material sciences, “playing” with the properties of biopolymers, ionic liquids and metal ions for designing new materials and applications (metal extraction, wastewater treatment, supported catalysis, etc.).

Fellowship' from the University of Bolton, UK for his PhD program at IIT Delhi. He was also awarded with
'Gold Medal' from IIT Delhi in 2006. He has published several research papers in different international
peer reviewed journals. He has edited book, coauthored a number of book chapters in various books. He
is also an editorial board member of the American Journal of Polymer Science and Technology. His
current research areas are smart polymers and textiles, novel nanoparticles for functional soft matters,
green chemistry for value added fibrous and polymeric structures.

Dr. Hongtao Liu earned his PhD in Fiber and Polymer Science from
Donghua University, Shanghai, China. He was ever a postdoctoral
researcher in Université de Montpellier, France. Currently, Dr. Liu is an
associate professor in Wuhan Textile University, Wuhan, China. His
research interests are the structure and properties characterization of
textile fibers, polymers, composites and oligopeptides. He is a member
of the national technical committee on chemical fibers of standardization
administration of China. He has published more than 70 scientific
publications and has been serving as an associate editorial board
member of Current Applied Polymer Science since 2020.

He is currently an associate professor at the Institute of Macromolecules Professor Eloisa Mano, where he works in the field of polymeric biomaterials devices and applications. Paulo has experience in the area of Science and Technology of Polymers with an emphasis on polymeric nanostructures and electroactive polymers, acting mainly on the following themes: conductive polymers, nanostructured materials, biomolecules and tissue engineering. Dr. Sarvesh Kumar Pandey completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)
and Master of Science (M.Sc) from University of Lucknow, India in
2008 and 2010, respectively. After cracking CSIR-UGC (NET-JRF),
GATE, and BARC national level exams, he joined the Department of
Chemistry, Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-K), India for his Ph.D.
program and obtained his doctoral degree in 2018. After receiving his
Ph.D., he served as a Project Scientist at IIT-K. He achieved several
prestigious awards for his research contribution in the field of
computational chemistry (electronic structure calculations). He is
working as a Computational Chemist (Electronic Structure Calculations
using the density functional theory (DFT) and ab initio modelling
approaches. DSKP is currently affiliated with the Department of
Inorganic and Physical Chemistry (IPC), Indian Institute of Science
Bengaluru (IISc), India. Computational experiments on various kinds of
molecular/ionic species in chemistry, astrochemistry and material science
research fields are his one of the prime research interests.
