Dr. Zheng obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Polymer Science from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China. He was ever a postdoctoral researcher in Deutches Kunstoff-Institut (DKI), Germany and in University of California at Irvine (UCI), USA. Currently, Dr. Zheng is a professor of polymer science in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China. He has published more than 180 scientific publications and is a named inventor of tens of U.S. and Chinese Patents. Dr. Zheng is the founding Editor (2016) of this journal (Current Applied Polymer Science, CAPS), published by Bentham Science Publishers.

Eric Guibal (Biography
Eric Guibal

Dr. Guibal obtained a doctorate (PhD) in waste management from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) de Lyon (France) in 1990, after getting his diploma from French engineering school, Ecole des mines d’Alès, in 1986. He has published about 200 scientific publications. He is developing a research at the frontier between environmental engineering and material sciences, “playing” with the properties of biopolymers, ionic liquids and metal ions for designing new materials and applications (metal extraction, wastewater treatment, supported catalysis, etc.). Dr. Guibal is currently co-editor of this journal (Current Applied Polymer Science), published by Bentham Science Publishers.

Denis Rodrigue

Dr. Denis Rodrigue obtained a Ph.D. (1996) in chemical engineering from Sherbrooke University (Canada) with a focus on rheology and non-Newtonian fluid mechanics. He then moved to Laval University (Canada) where he is now a full professor in chemical engineering. His main research areas are polymer processing in general with an emphasis on the chemical, electrical, morphological, physical, rheological and thermal properties of complex structures such as blends, composites, fibers, films, foams, membranes and multilayers. He has over 200 papers published in international journals and over 12 book chapters.

Dr. Sunil K. Bajpai obtained his doctorate (Ph. D.) degree from Rani Durgawati University, Jabalpur(M.P.), India on polymer chemistry. He is professor of chemistry in Govt. Model Science College, Jabalpur (M.P.), India. He has published over 150 research papers in various journals of international repute. Jim Low

Low, I.M. earned his doctoral degree in Materials Engineering at Monash University, Australia in 1987. He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree in Materials Engineering also from Monash University in 1983. He is currently attached to the School of Science and is a professor at Curtin University, Perth, Australia. Low authored/co-authored over 230 refereed scientific articles and more than 10 books as of March 2016 and his h-index is 28 with 2784 citations. His research interests include polymer composites, nanotechnology, advanced materials processing and characterisation. He is the current WA Branch President and Federal Secretary of the Australian Ceramic Society He is also the recipient of the prestigious 1996 Joint Australasian Ceramic Society/Ceramic Society of Japan Ceramic Award for ceramics research. He is on the editorial board of several journals such as Journal of Nanomaterials and Journal of Ceramics.

Jovan Nedeljkovic

Dr. Nedeljković obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from the Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY. Currently Dr. Nedeljković is a senior researcher in the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences, University of Belgrade, Serbia. His main research interest is development of synthetic methods for size and shape control of various types of nanomaterials (noble metals, semiconductors and oxides), as well as their usage as building blocks for preparation of polymer based nanocomposites. Dr. Nedeljković published more than 150 scientific papers during his thirty years long scientific career.

Victor M. Castano

Victor-Manuel Castano-Meneses holds BSc, MSc and PhD in Physics from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, where he is a Full-Professor at the Centro de Fisica Aplicada y Tecnologia Avanzada. He spent 2 years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at IBM´s Yorktown Heights Research Center and has authored and co-authored over 600 peer-reviewer papers in international journals. Prof. Castano is one of the most cited latinamerican scientists in his field and has advised over 60 PhD thesis and numerous BSc and MSc disertations. He also holds more than 20 patents and has been able to effectively transfer nanotechnology knowledge from the lab to the industry.

Mohammad Khayet

Dr. Mohamed Khayet is director of the “Membranes and Renewable Energy” research group of the University Complutense of Madrid (UCM), director of the Department Applied Physics I (UCM) and an Associated Researcher in IMDEA Water (Madrid Institute of Advanced Studies on Water, Spain). He received his Ph.D. in Physics in 1997 from the UCM. He is an expert on polymeric membrane science and nanotechnology. Dr.Vijaya K Rangari is a professor at Tuskegee University’s Materials Science and Engineering department, Rangri received his Ph.D in Polymer Chemistry from Osmania University, India and a postdoctoral experience at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore India and Bar-Ilan University, Israel. Rangari’s main research interests are: a) Synthesis of various types of nanoparticles with different shapes and sizes using CVD, sonochemical autogenic pressure reactor and microwave techniques; and b) Development of thermoset and thermoplastic polymeric nanocomposites for structural applications. c) Alignment of acicular nanoparticles in polymeric fibers and thin films through melt extrusion for multifunctional textile and food packaging applications.

A. Salabat

Dr Alireza Salabat obtained his PhD degree from the Faculty of Chemistry, Tabriz University, Tabriz, Iran. He was then worked as a lecturer in Arak University, Arak, Iran. As an academic member, he has worked in the Chemistry department of Arak University investigating on the solution thermodynamics and new extraction systems containing polymer and surfactants. He has worked as a visiting professor in colloid center of University of Bristol. Dr Salabat is working as a full Professor of Physical chemistry, focusing on colloid and polymer chemistry, Nanochemistry and Nanocatalyst at Arak University, Faculty of Science.

Iis Sopyan (Biography
Iis Sopyan

Dr. Sopyan obtained a Doctor of Engineering degree in Applied Chemistry from the University of Tokyo, Japan in 1996. He joined Faculty of Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia in 2004 and he is currently a professor of materials engineering in the university. His current research activity involves the development of calcium phosphate ceramics for bone substitutes, polymer composites, biopolymers, and functional ceramics for structural, environmental, and energy applications. Dr. Sopyan has published more than 150 scientific publications in refereed journals. He is a member of the Editorial Board of this journal (Current Applied Polymer Science).

U. Yildiz (Biography
U. Yildiz

Dr. Yildiz studied chemistry at Karadeniz Technical University, finishing his Ph.D. in 1998 supervised by Prof.Baki Hazer . He came to Kocaeli University as an assistant professor in 1998. After postdoctoral work on miniemulsion and emulsion polymerization with Prof. Markus Antonietti, Dr Katharina Landfester and Dr Klaus Tauer at Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces (Golm, Germany) he returned to Turkey and was promoted to associate professor in 2004. He was a visiting scientist at the University of Liverpool, Department of Chemistry within the Centre for Materials Discovery working with Prof. Andy Cooper and Dr Jon Weaver (2008). He became a full professor in 2009. His research interests include macroinitiators, heterophase polymerization, polymeric phthalocyanines and hydrogels. Dr.Yildiz is currently one of the Editor of "Current Applied Polymer Science" journal, published by Bentham Science Publishers.
