Dr Mukherjee has been an invited lecturer at several major national and international meetings, has authored over 450 publications, edited eighteen textbooks on cardiovascular diseases and written more than 100 textbook chapters. Gordan Srkalovic, MD, PhD, is former staff physician and Associate Director of the Hematology & Medical Oncology Fellowship Program, Taussig Cancer Center, Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Previously, he has served as Vice Dean for International Affairs and Head of Physiology at University of Tuzla Medical School. He is board certified in hematology and medical oncology. Presently he is Director of Clinical Trials Office at Sparrow Cancer Center and Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Medicine, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Srkalovic’s research has focused on such areas as treatment of newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (MM); treatment of lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma; role of Apo2L/trail and Bcl-2-family proteins in apoptosis of MM and role of peptide receptors in endocrine-related malignancies.

Dr. Wei Wang is the director of TCM and Ethomedicine Innovation & Development Laboratory and professor in the School of Pharmacy at HUCM. He received a Ph. D in pharmacognosy in 2006 from Peking University (China) and postdoctoral studies in Natural Products Chemistry in 2007-2012 from the National Center for Natural Products Research at the University of Mississippi (USA). Dr. Wang’s primary research interests include isolation and structure elucidation of natural products and search for bioactive compounds, chemical and pharmacological study of Chinese medicine, and quality control study of Chinese medicine. He was awarded Hunan Furong Distinguished Professor in 2015.

Dr. Whayne has been Professor of Medicine at the University of Kentucky since l998. His academic career began in 1970. He was in a private cardiology practice in Kentucky from1977-1998. MD (1963) was obtained from the University of Pennsylvania and PhD (1970) while at the Cardiovascular Institute, University of California at San Francisco. Internal medicine and cardiovascular clinical training were at the New York Hospital-Cornell and Cardiovascular Institute, respectively. Board certifications are in internal and cardiovascular medicine. He is fluent in Spanish with 17 publications and over 70 international lectures in Spanish. He has published over 90 Medline-listed PubMed articles.
Prof. Dr. Zhao obtained the Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry from Lanzhou University, China, and was a postdoctoral fellow and visiting scholar in Mainz University (Germany), CNRS (France), and Taiwan University (Taipei). Dr. Reitz also holds an Executive Masters in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton, Penn Engineering). Prof. Zhao is currently the vice president of Dali University, and the director of National-Local Joint Engineering Research Center of Entomoceutics. He has published more than 300 scientific publications and is a named inventor of more than 200 issued Chinese patents.
