A.B. Klomek

Dr. Klomek is a clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor in the School of Psychology at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya, Israel. Dr. Klomek completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Klomek’s research interests focus on child and adolescent mental health including depression, anxiety, suicide, bullying, learning and eating disorders. She has been involved in various intervention studies and has wrote numerous articles about these topics. Since 2007, Dr. Klomek is the assistant editor of Archives of Suicide Research.

B. Pradhan

Basant Pradhan, MD obtained his fellowship in child psychiatry from the Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, and currently works in Cooper University Health System, Camden, New Jersey as a faculty in psychiatry & pediatrics. There he also serves as the founding director of the Trans-Cranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and the Yoga and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (Y-MBCT) programs. Pradhan is a meditation practitioner, inventor, researcher, mentor and writer. He serves as a Guest Editor and Advisor to the Editorial Boards of many journals, and has received numerous awards, both in India and the US.

D. Rickwood

Dr. Debra Rickwood is Professor of Psychology at the University of Canberra and Chief Scientific Advisor to headspace: Australia's National Youth Mental Health Foundation. She is a Fellow and Past Board Director of the Australian Psychological Society, and member of the Australian Psychological Society’s College of Community Psychologists. She is a pioneer researcher in the field of mental health problems of youth, and oversees research and evaluation for the Australian government-funded headspace initiative, which addresses the mental health care needs of young people aged 12-25 across Australia.

A. D. Santos

Dr. Amilton dos Santos Júnior, Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist, MD, PhD, with focus on Child and Adolescent Health. He is a Lecturer of Psychiatry at the State University of Campinas - Brazil since 2016. Areas of research interest both in psychosocial and in biological aspects of child/adolescent psychiatry and mental health; in which he has voluntarily formed discussion and study groups with, psychologists, physicians, medical and post-graduate students. Regarding the former, the main areas of interest refer to mental health of undergraduate students, mental health of young athletes and mental health of children with gender incongruence. His most recent publications are on the field of cardiovascular, hormonal and pharmacogenetics of adverse effects of risperidone among children and adolescents; and also he is starting a similar study on the effects of clozapine for the treatment of aggression among adolescents with severe externalized behaviors and disruptive disorders.

A.J. Pumariega

Andres J. Pumariega, M.D. has devoted his psychiatric career to children’s systems of care and cultural diversity in mental health. He is currently Professor and Chair, Department of Psychiatry, Cooper School of Medicine at Rowan University. His M.D. is from the University of Miami, and residencies in general and child psychiatry at Duke University. He has headed two pediatric psychiatry consultation services, three directorships of child & adolescent psychiatry, and two previous departments of psychiatry. He has served on the editorial boards of multiple journals, and published over 200 scientific publications and over 200 abstracts, and two edited textbooks. He was President of the American Association of Social Psychiatry and American Orthopsychiatric Association, and awarded numerous awards for his work.

E.K. Reynolds

Elizabeth K. Reynolds is a faculty member at Johns Hopkins in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She serves as the primary behavioral consultant within the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient and Day Hospital services. Research and clinical interests focus on 1) patient safety, quality improvement, and behavioral programming within youth psychiatric acute care and 2) social-contextual and self-regulatory factors associated with adolescent health risk behaviors. Dr. Reynolds received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University of Maryland, College Park. She completed her predoctoral internship training at Alpert Medical School of Brown University Clinical Psychology Training Consortium.

E.M. Rothe

Dr. Rothe is Professor of Psychiatry and a Founding Faculty Member of the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, Courtesy Professor of the Robert Stempel School of Public Health and Adjunct Professor of the Cuban Research Institute at Florida International University, Miami’s Public University. He is a board certified in Adult, Child and Adolescent and Forensic psychiatry and trained in Adult Psychoanalysis.
