Dr. Hassan M. Rashed is a pharmacist. He graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain-Shams University in May 2006. He started working at Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA) in August 2007. He is currently an assistant professor of radiopharmaceuticals at Labeled Compounds Department as well as a radioisotope production specialist at Radioisotope Production Facility (RPF), EAEA. He traveled to Argentina in August 2008 to receive training in radioisotopes production and quality control at Argentinean Atomic Energy Organization (CNEA).

Prof. Jalilian has a PharmD. degree (1995) and a Ph.D. degree in Radiopharmacy (2000) followed by postdoctoral fellowships in University of Alberta, Canada and Yale School of Medicine, New Haven, CT, USA. Until 2015 he was active in the development of new radiopharmaceuticals in countries leading to completion of clinical trials and the marketing of various radiopharmaceuticals. He has published around 350 scientific papers in peer-viewed journals and 3 books and supervised more than 50 MSc and PhD theses. Dr Kitson is an Investigator of Radiochemistry at Almac, UK. He has over 15 years of experience in the synthesis of carbon-14 labelled compounds. Dr Kitson is the Editor-in-Chief of Current Radiopharmaceuticals published by Bentham Science Publishers and the Journal of Diagnostic Imaging in Therapy. He has published over 45 research, reviews and commercial articles in the area of carbon-14 synthesis and medical imaging. His contribution to radiochemistry was acknowledged by winning the 2006 Wiley Journal of Labelled Compounds and Radiopharmaceuticals Young Scientists Award. Since, 2007 he has been a Member of the Scientific Committee for the International Isotopes Society (IIS) UK group.
