Dr. Jayesh J. Ahire is a Research Scientist in the Center for Research and Development, Unique Biotech Limited, Hyderabad, India. He received Ph.D. Microbiology (2013) in the field of probiotics and its biogenic metabolites from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, India. Later, from March 2013 to April 2018, Dr. Ahire worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Microbiology, Stellenbosch University, Stellenbosch, South Africa and explored research on Nanotechnology and Microbiology. He has around 5 years of research experience in field of Bio-nanotechnology. He published several research articles in peer-reviewed journals and serving as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals. To date, Dr. Ahire reviewed 43 articles for Current Nanoscience, 7 for Micro and Nanosystems and 1 for Recent Patents on Biotechnology. His professional interests are in the area of Nano-biotechnology.

Dr. Shaimaa T. El-Wakeel completed her PhD (2014) from the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, Egypt. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Water Pollution Research Department, Environmental Research Division, National Research Centre, Cairo, Egypt. Her research is focused on the removal of heavy metals from water and wastewater, synthesis of different nanomaterial and determination of heavy metals concentrations in water and wastewater using Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS) and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). She has also attended several international and national conferences, seminars and workshops.
