Biography of S. Afzal
Dr Sheryar Afzal received his PhD in Pharmacology in 2006 from the Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang. He is currently an Assistant Professor/Senior Lecturer at MAHSA University. His research areas are pharmacology and neural control of hypertension, diabetes and renal functions, herbal- pharmacological and toxicological evaluation of indigenous medicinal plants, pharmacokinetic analysis of natural and synthetic drugs. He has more than 20 journal publications and has acquired a research grant too. He is a Life Time Member of Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council as well as Reviewer and Editorial Board Member of Journal of Physiology and Pharmacology and Food Science and Biotechnology.

Amer Hayat Khan is currently a Senior Lecturer at Discipline of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, 11800- Penang, Malaysia. He received his Ph.D. degree in the field of Clinical Pharmacy in 2011 at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia. His research interests are Infectious diseases / Antibiotic Stewardship; Nephrology; Epidemiology; Clinical Pharmacy & Public Health. He has published his work in both International & National Journals.

Dr. Yubo ZHANG is an Associate Professor at Foshan University in China. He has a long-standing interest in predicting protein-protein interaction mechanisms, structure-based drug design and studies on conformational changes in proteins. Currently, he is developing Structure-Based Drug Design combined by experimental and theoretical approaches. The research areas include: 1) Understanding membrane trafficking mechanism by using crystallographic tools. 2) Designing a long-acting drugs by structural modification.

Biography of Yuntao Wu
Dr. Yuntao Wu is a professor at the National Center for Biodefense and Infectious Diseases, George Mason University, Manassas, Virginia, USA. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada, and his postdoctoral training at NIH, Bethesda, Maryland, USA. Dr. Wu studies HIV infection of blood CD4 T cells and macrophages (Science, 2001, 293:1503-6), mainly focusing on the role of chemokine- and HIV-1-mediated G-protein signaling and actin dynamics in HIV infection and pathogenesis (Cell, 2008, 134,782; Science Advances, 2019, 5:1,aat7911). Currently, his lab also studies the mechanisms of PSGL-1 restriction of HIV infection (Nature Microbiology, 2019, 4:813-25).
