Dr. Diaga Diouf received his PhD in Physiology, Biology and Plant molecular Biology from University Paris 7 Denis Diderot in France. He received post doctoral training in 2002 and 2003 at the Department of Biological Sciences at Virginia Tech and at the Department of Agronomy of University of California at Davis, respectively. He was appointed as an Adjunct professor from 2007 to 2010 at the Department of Biological Sciences at Virginia Tech, in USA. Currently he is a full professor in plant molecular genetics at the university Cheikh Anta Diop in Senegal. His work focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms that control tolerance of the combined effect of drought and heat in crop using OMIC approaches and bioinformatics tools.

Dr Kimberly Dobrinski is currently a Professor of Instruction I at the University of Tampa, USA. She received her PhD in Molecular Microbiology from the University of South Florida in 2009. She has been honoured with Distinguished Graduate Achievement Award by the University of South Florida. Her field of expertise and interest include Compensatory regulation of Copy Number Variation on gene expression, the effects of trihalomethanes in drinking water on head and neck cancer prevalence. She has received training as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist from BayFront Hospital. Dr Dobrinski has more than 15 publications and is a member of the American Society for Human Genetics.

Dr. Li obtained a PhD from Kyushu University in Japan, and then became a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Foreign Researcher in Japan. Since 2014, Dr. Li is Associate Professor at Southwest University in China. He has published more than 40 scientific publications in the fields of functional genomics of the insects. His research interests include epigenetic regulation; cell cycle regulation; post-translational modification; and cross-talks among Ubiquitylation, Neddylation, and SUMOylation.
