Dr. Mahdi Hasanzadeh received his PhD in Textile Engineering (2016) from the University of Guilan, Rasht. After completion of post-doctoral research with Professor Abdolreza Simchi at Sharif University of Technology (SUT, Tehran) supported by Iran's National Elites Foundation (INEF) Fellowship, he joined the faculty at Yazd University in February 2019 as Assistant Professor. At SUT, his research focuses on the metal-organic frameworks and the use of these materials in energy and environment. His research interest now includes nanostructured and advanced materials, polymer nanofibers and fibrous nanocomposites, industrial textiles, and polymer and fiber modification. He has written more than 60 original scientific papers, 8 books, 25 chapters in 12 volumes and 6 patents.
