Dr. S. Kabilan is presently serving as a Professor and Dean at the Department of Chemistry, Annamalai University in India. He completed his M.Sc in 1982 and Ph.D. in 1989 in Chemistry Annamalai University, India. His research interest includes the Synthesis of biological active Organic compounds and reaction dynamics. Currently working on Designing active molecules using Schrodinger software, followed by synthesizing the active molecules. Completed projects CSIR-2, DBT, DBT(NEC), ICMR and UGC. He has contributed his valuable publications in different scientific journals.

Until now, he is a full professor and is working at Guangdong Medical University. His research interests include multifunctional metal-organic framework nanomaterials, and stimuli-responsive (bio) polymers. More than 50 papers have been published. H-index = 22. He has been appointed as several editorial board members of the journals, such as: Interdisciplinary Journal of Chemistry; and EC Pharmacology and Toxicology, and so on.
