Dr. Jianxun Ding is an associate professor in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He received his B.S. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2007 and then obtained his Ph.D. degree from CIAC, CAS in 2013. Prof. Atta-ur-Rahman, Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Kings College, University of Cambridge (1968), has 1235 international publications in several fields of organic chemistry including, 349 books published largely by major U.S. and European presses. He was elected as Fellow of Royal Society (London) (2006) and won the prestigious UNESCO Science Prize (1999).
Prof. Atta-ur-Rahman was conferred honorary D.Sc. degrees by many leading world universities including the University of Cambridge and appointed an Honorary Life Fellow of Kings College, University of Cambridge. The Austrian government honoured him with its high civil award (“Grosse Goldene Ehrenzeischen am Bande") (2007). He is Professor Emeritus at the University of Karachi, Pakistan.
