Dr. Shabbir Muhammad received his MSc in Chemistry from Pakistan. Later, he completed his PhD in Physical Chemistry in 2010 with distinction (Nomination for National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of China) from Northeast Normal University, China. Dr. Shabbir Muhammad is currently an assistant professor in King Khalid University. He has several academic awards including Global COE (Center of excellence), JSPS Fellowships and Young Researcher Award from Osaka University, Japan, and IBM-Lowdin 2013 Award from USA. His research interest includes but is not limited to the computational aspects of novel compounds in chemistry and biochemistry. He has more than 150 publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

Science) at National University of Singapore. Dr. Sirikanjana Thongmee was awarded the Thesis
Presentation Award, Mahidol University, Thailand in 1999 and Outstanding Research of the Year
2nd Class Award, Office of the National Research Council of Thailand, Thailand in 2003.
She has published more than 40 journal articles with a citation of over 614 times.

Biography of Karl James Jalkanen
Karl James Jalkanen, FRSC, DTM is a research scientist at the La Verne manufacturing facility of Gilead Sciences, Inc. and an adjunct professor at Azuza Pacific University in Azuza, CA USA. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC). He has been a visiting scientist/researcher at Bremen University in Bremen, Germany and Kyushu University in Kyushu, Japan. He has been Guest Editor for 4 issues of Theoretical Chemistry Accounts, and two special issues of CPC. He has published over 80 research papers with an H-index of 30 and over 3000 citations. His areas of expertise are molecular biophysics, quantum nanobiology, biophysical chemistry, biostatistics and applied mathematics.
