Dr. A. Djelloul has completed his HDR (Doctor Habilitatus), PhD and Magister in physics from University
of Oran (USTO-MB), Algeria. Currently he is working as a Research professor in Research Center in
Semiconductors Technology for Energetic (CRTSE), Algiers, Algeria. He has wide experiences in both
Research and Academia concerning "Material Characterization, Nanomaterials, Thin Films and
Nanotechnology, Solar cells, Silicon, Laser, Deposition Methods (CBD, SILAR, Spray pyrolysis, Vacuum
Evaporation,...)". He has published more than 15 articles and presented many papers in reputed national
and international conferences (50 conference proceedings). He is a member in many scientific projects,
several academic societies and organizations. He is the Principal Guest Editor of several Special Issues in
International Journal of Current Materials Science. He is also an Associate Editorial Board Member and

College Durg (C.G.), from 2010-2013. His research involves Synthesis and characterization of nanostructure luminescent materials and Thermoluminescence Studies of Geological Materials. Dr. Ali Ghahari is a researcher at Purdue University, pursuing a Degree in Civil Engineering with an
emphasis in Transportation Asset Management. He is performing corruption assessment in
infrastructure projects and performing asset management studies on infrastructure systems. Ali has
more than 30 publications on different aspects of civil engineering. He is currently working as a graduate
teaching assistant in the EPICS Program (Engineering Projects in Community Service), guiding
undergraduate students to accomplish hands-on projects that help the improvement of communities.
He is a member of the ITE Purdue Student Chapter, where he has served as Secretary. He has served as a
Senator for Purdue’s Graduate Student Government and has served as President of Purdue’s Civil
Engineering Graduate Student Advisory Council. He is a member of Habitat for Humanity and
volunteered at the World Bank Group Youth Summit in 2017. His research interests include: Assessing
the Relative Performance of Highway Bridge Decks across Multiple States, Estimation of Annual Bridge
Repair Expenditures, and Multiple-Time Period Model for Hydrogen Refueling Station Locations
Considering Budget Constraints.
