Dr. Ram Gupta joined Pittsburg State University as an Assistant Professor in 2013. Before joining to Pittsburg State University, he worked as an Assistant Research Professor at Missouri State University, Springfield, MO then as a Senior Research Scientist at North Carolina AT State University, Greensboro, NC. Dr. Gupta’s research focus on green energy production and storage using conducting polymers and composites, nanomaterials, optoelectronics and photovoltaics devices, organic-inorganic hetero-junctions for sensors, nanomagnetism, bio-based polymers, bio-compatible nanofibers for tissue regeneration, scaffold and antibacterial applications, bio-degradable metallic implants. Dr. Gupta has published more than 150 articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented/attended more than 100 national/international conferences. He is a member of editorial board and reviewer for various leading science journals. Dr. Gupta has received several internal and external (NSF, DoE, KINBRE, USA) funding to promote research and educational activities.

F. Jiang received his Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry in 2013 from Soochow University. He is now a professor in department of physics from Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University. Jiang’s research interests lie in organic film/fiber materials including conducting polymer, graphene, and organic/inorganic hybrids in the field of organic thermoelectrics.
