Chi-Hua Chen is a distinguished professor (Minjiang scholar and Qishan scholar) for the College of Mathematics and Computer Science of Fuzhou University and a chair professor for the Navigation College of Dalian Maritime University. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Information Management and Finance of National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) in 2013. He has published over 270 journal articles, conference articles, and patents. Some contributions were published in IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEICE Transactions, etc. His recent research interests include Internet of things, deep learning, cellular networks, data mining, and intelligent transportation systems.

He received his PhD in Information Science & Technology from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). Currently, he is a Young Endowed Chair Professor at the School of Mathematics and School of Cyber Security in Southeast University, China.His research interests include multi-agent systems, complex networks and systems, disturbance control, distributed optimization, neural networks, game theory, cyberspace security, smart grids, intelligent transportation systems. He was listed by Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers in Engineering in 2014-2016.
