He completed his PhD in food sciences from Jiangnan University, China in 2007. Dr. Feng also worked as a visiting professor at the department of food sciences, Purdue University, USA from 2018-2019. He received an award for the Scientific progress of technical innovation of Chinese Society of Food Science and Technology(CSFST) in 2018. He serves as an editorial board member for highly reputed journals and is also a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Association of Cereal Chemists.
