Bentham Press Release -- NEWS

Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) indexes Current Drug Safety

News release date: June 22, 2016

Dubai, UAE, June 22, 2016: The Bentham Science journal Current Drug Safety has been accepted for inclusion in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) and will appear in WoS by August 2016.

Current Drug Safety publishes frontier articles on all the latest advances on drug safety. The journal aims to publish the highest quality research articles, reviews and case reports in the field. The topics covered include: adverse effects of individual drugs and drug classes, management of adverse effects, pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiology of new and existing drugs, and post-marketing surveillance. The journal is essential reading for all researchers and clinicians involved in drug safety. For more information about the journal, please visit here

As a new index in the Web of Science™ Core Collection, Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) expands the citation universe and reflects the growing global body of science and scholarly activity. ESCI complements the highly selective indexes by providing earlier visibility for sources under evaluation as part of SCIE, SSCI, and AHCI’s rigorous journal selection process. Inclusion in ESCI provides greater discoverability which leads to measurable citations and more transparency in the selection process.
